Transcript for "Campfire Product Demo":
Hey, everyone. How's it going? I will give it a minute or two for everyone to hop into the room. But welcome, and really appreciate everyone taking the time out of their day to join the Campfire webinar. Whether you've heard of Campfire or you haven't heard of it, we love and are excited to talk about what Campfire is all about and to show you the Campfire products. My name is Hank. I lead the solution engineering team over here at Campfire. I an early Campfire employee when we were just a handful of people in a a single room in in San Francisco, where now we're building the, you know, large kind of European based company over here in in camp yeah. Campfire and looking to bring people off of QuickBooks, replace NetSuite, and everything like that, and rebuilding fantastic agents, at AI tools to automate this process for customers and companies. I'm going to share my screen, and we can start with, you the overall presentation today. I will quickly say that if there's any questions or concerns, if there's any things you like in the product or have any questions, put them in the q and a, put them in the chat. And at the end of the call today, we'll actually be going live through a lot of the questions that we have. So very excited to to go through with the presentation. We have a couple slides that we're gonna show, and then we're gonna start with the presentation today. But me just pull up my screen, and we can start with the presentation. Campfire, we're a high AI native ERP for high growth companies that's looking to help mid market companies, oops, between, five and, you know, between 50 to, you know, a thousand headcount, really automate a lot of the accounting tasks they have on a day by day basis. The current state of ERP, we really see a lot of these challenges spring up from customers that are on QuickBooks or on Xero or on NetSuite or Sage Intact. For the NetSuite Sage Intact side, they have long implementations. They're more difficult to customize. They're more expensive. Despite all you pay, you still have manual accounting tasks. They're slower on multi and leading consolidations, and they don't really scale large transaction volumes. The classic story of having to kind of consolidate everything and group everything up into summary level journal entries and all the subledgers are off the system. Campfire really attempts to solve a lot of these. Our implementations are much faster, typically between six to eight weeks. They are free of charge, so we've waived all the implementation costs to make it as easy as possible to get on Campfire. It's incredibly customizable. We have API endpoints. You can plug any tool into the Campfire system. We automate a lot of accounting tasks with AI. We're fully compliant for multi entity and multicurrency. And, of course, Campfire is based off of a native, modern database structure. So we're able to actually scale with huge amounts of transaction volumes. People are pushing millions and millions and millions of transactions in Campfire on a monthly basis, and they're able to access the Campfire system without actually any latency issues or latency slowdowns. The Campfire platform itself, we've really simplified buying ERP in a sense that we don't charge you $4.99 a month to have, like, fixed assets or anything like that. We really just have two products here at Campfire. We have core accounting, which is everything you will ever need with a general ledger. So it's the GL. It's reporting. It's multi entity. It's multicurrency. It's a closed management platform. It's prepaid. It's fixed assets. It's leases. And then you have revenue automation, which is, of course, if you need deeper revenue automation for deferred revenue management, rev rec, invoicing payments, AR tracking, KPIs, everything like that. So if you have deferred revenue have to be six zero six compliant, then we have a revenue automation product for you to to take a look at as well. Of course, embedded in all of this is our AI products, Ember AI and our accounting intelligence products. We have built our own foundation model specifically to help automate a lot of accounting tax through AI. We have our own NVIDIA GPUs. It's localized to just the Campfire environment. Your data never leaves the walls of Campfire, and it's able to do in natural language things like building your budgets, posting your legal accruals, classifying journal entries or auto matching transactions as well, or even producing documents, producing Excel docs, producing PowerPoints, producing Word docs. All of this is power from our accounting intelligence automation platform that really helps automate the day to day processes for a lot of accountants. And the other great thing is that we have tons and tons of integrations into Campfire. You seamlessly integrate with your finance stack. You have 70 plus integrations, hundreds of payroll systems, and tens of thousands of banking connections. So we integrate the tools like on the AP side, Bill, Ramp, Brexel, Palti, AR ARs on Stripe, CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot, ADP, Workday, Rippling, everything like that. We have tons and tons of integrations to your banks and payroll tools, AP and AR tools to help you seamlessly flow information into Campfire. So all of this comes native outside of the box. And the last thing I'm just going through the slides quickly so we can get to the Campfire product. We have something called a CFO bio fund. We have set aside $5,000,000 in cash to buy you out of your existing accounting and ERP solution. So please take a look at the Campfire product today. If you really like what you see in the Campfire product and you're kind of in the middle of, like, a Sage Intacct contract, we have set aside some cash to buy you out of your existing contract. So if you see Campfire as your next ERP, as your next accounting solution, We do not want your NetSuite contract to be stopping you from switching to Campfire. So we've set aside $5,000,000 to literally write you a check to get you off of NetSuite, to get you off of QuickBooks, and get you off of Sage. We'd love to tell you a little more about the BioFund and what we can do to help customers get out to Campfire. But with that, I'd love to show you the Campfire product itself. So I'm gonna switch my screen, and we will get into the Campfire product here today. This is the front page of Campfire for the revenue dashboard. Before I kinda start off with this, I really just wanna say there's, again, any any questions or concerns, please just put it in the chat or put it in the q and a. We'll be doing a live q and a answer at the end of this presentation today. Front page of the revenue dashboard for Campfire, have a couple KPIs and metrics that come out of the box as the normal front page dashboard. We have KPIs, reminders, dashboards, metrics, everything like that you can click and drill into. These come out of the box out of Campfire, and we combine these with our core financial statements as well. So you have this, and then you have the core income statement in Campfire. This is an income statement in Campfire, broken out on a month by month basis here. The number one reason why customers will move on to Campfire is that we fully support multi entity in Campfire. So you can break out on an entity by entity basis sub one, sub two, parent company, consolidated total, we'll automatically post to the elimination subsidiaries as well, part of period close. So we'll automatically own that process for you as part of your intercompany transactions. So fully multiunit supportive in Campfire. We even have some customers support up to a 100 subsidiaries in the Campfire tool, like full verticalized, complex subsidiary structures, multiple elimination subsidiaries. So whether you're just one parent, one sub, or you're hundreds and hundreds of subsidiaries around the globe, Campfire has the automation to support you through your consolidations all within a single platform. So fully multi entity, and then also fully multicurrency as well. So if I open up OPEX here and click into a journal entry, click into a transaction, I can drill into a specific transaction. And this is where we can show some of the multicurrency aspects for Campfire. This is a multicurrency journal entry where you have the transacting currency in GBP. You have the subcurrency in euro, and then it consolidates in US dollar. And on the journal entry itself, we have the ability to track the transacting currency, again, GDP, the functional currency in euro, and the consolidating currency in dollar. We fit in all the exchange rates on a daily basis from the European Central Bank. So we provide all the rates for you. You can override the rates. Otherwise, you can use our rates free of charge, and we feed them all of them in on a daily basis from the European Central Bank. So deep multicurrency breakouts within Campfire. Then And when you go to report across different currencies and go back to the income statement here, what you can do is you can go to a specific entity like sub two. And then in sub two, it's reporting a consolidated dollar. You can switch to the MEV currency in just this click of a button. So just click one button, and you can switch between the consolidating and entity currency. We even break out on a currency by currency basis. So you have it on euro versus GDP versus USD. So really a global platform that can help, again, with your consolidations and then multicurrency as well within Campfire. One other thing as well that we have in Campfire is the ability to break out by something called a custom tag. A tag is a custom dimension in Campfire. A tag could be something like a project, a product group, location, grant, fund. We were talking about nonprofit a little bit earlier. By going to a project here, we can set up these custom dimensions within Campfire. And then when you set up a custom dimension or segment, you can track all of your projects for your custom dimensions and track project p and l's, project gross margin. You can drill into any of these drill entry amounts. So you can get professional fees for just project a by clicking this $19.04 30 in Campfire. Unlimited dimensionality. So unlimited tags and limited tag groups. So whether you have hundreds and hundreds of tag groups or hundreds and hundreds of options within a tag group, you have all that custom dimensionality and flexibility to report within Campfire very easily. So we have custom dimensions, custom reports, multi entity, multicurrency, income statement balance sheet, cash flow, trial balance, budget versus actual. The most powerful thing in Campfire is we actually have custom reports as well. So a custom financial statement and I'm just gonna go to a custom financial statement here. We can build custom financial statements in Campfire where in the custom financial statement, we can literally break out on a line by line level your normal income statement. But let's say you wanna, you know, track your p and l except you don't want IT expense. You can drag this out and remove rows, and then operating expense or operating income and OpEx actually recalculates without this removed row. So just drag and drop anything out of your customer port, and you can build custom reports this way. Well, I wanna put this in COGS. I'll drag and drop this in COGS, and COGS recalculates with this expense geo account inside of it. Or you can even go crazy. You can put in revenue if you want. A revenue can recalculate with that GL account. Or you can move this and nest it with professional fees so you can nest GL accounts within each other. Very easy, and it's all just drag and drop within the system. Custom groups, custom formula rows. Our goal is to have really strong kind of flexibility with custom reporting, but make it incredibly easy to build those custom reports. Just drag and drop everything within Campfire, and you can build any report that's off your GL data within the tool. Of course, we have custom reporting, and then we have AI reporting in Campfire as well. AI reporting is a tool that will help track automatically all of your reports that you wanna just put in natural language. So with Ember AI, Ember AI is our native AI platform in terms of Campfire. Inside of Campfire, it's based off your GL details in a fully controlled SOC environment. It never leaves the walls of Campfire. You can ask a question like, can you build me a report that shows the trends and changes in, let's say, revenue, operating expenses, let's say COGS, operating expenses, gross margin, profitability, and, yeah, profitability and total cash on a month by month basis between October 2025 and December 2025 in table in visual format. I'm gonna put this prompt in the system, and the system is going to interpret what I asked it. It's gonna look at the findings, and then it's gonna help build the reports in front of me just from natural language. So it's touching you can actually see the steps that it's executing right now. It's getting the income statement, getting the balance sheet, getting the summary table, building the column charts, everything like that. We can even attach documents as well. So you can attach documents that say, like, hey. Can you automate this process for me? And attach a document for more and more context. So it's building all these key metrics. This isn't the final export, just kind of computing the number, but it's bringing more and more GL transactional data. And we do something called a sub ledger tie out as well. So as we're building this data to ensure that there's accuracy and completeness of all the data that's flowing into the AI based prompts, we will actually go out in the system and tie back your numbers. We will tie back revenue back into the income statement here. Sorry. Bear with me. We will actually tie back all of your amounts into the into the chat context here. So we'll tie back all the dollar amounts to make sure that it's complete and accurate. It's building a report that we asked for, and it's building it both in visual format, in Excel format, everything like that. You can see the visual graphs that it builds out, and it's adding just more and more context into our tool. So we're gonna give it a second to, you know, finish baking the oven. But I will say as we're producing some of these visual charts, we can export all these visuals into, like, an image or a JPEG or anything like that, PDF. And what we've recently released is the ability for Campfire to actually produce full Excel documentation, full Word documents, and full PowerPoint decks. So you can actually have it create your board reporting deck for you and have it not just put in the dollar amounts and the changes and shifts, but it can actually help you draft the insight as well into all of your kinda trends and changes. You can see the key insights. So you can have this converted from text into an actual PowerPoint documentation and text, or you can just take this information, get the supporting files, the images that it produces. So it's fully automating kind of a generation of reports, of analysis of data based on all of your geo transaction data in Campfire, and we tie back all this data into your core ledger to make sure it's complete and accurate. So once we have this, it's got a good snapshot, but, you know, this is something we wanna do regularly. So we don't just wanna do it once and kinda step and forget. We can now ask the system, hey. Can you build an agent for me that does this on a monthly recurring basis? Build the agent for me so it is very automated. We're gonna have it build something called an agent. Amber, in our AI tool, have agents to automatically recur tasks in AI tasks we have within the tool. So it's gonna pull this data, and it's gonna ask me, hey. What months are we covered? Well, I want three months. And when should the agent run each month? I want it to run on the second of the month. I'll actually have the fifth. I wanna close my books. I don't want I wanna clean some stuff up before it runs. And then how do I want this delivered? Do I want this in a chat, email, Slack? We can connect all of these together. Just to make it for time's sake, I'm gonna put it in chat only. I'm a submit this, and it's gonna create an agent for me. Again, an agent is an automated function in Campfire that just runs on a recurring basis. It is fully set and forget so that you set it up once. You go painstaking detail how you want the tool to look. Hopefully more time than I spent on it working on today in the webinar. And then it actually builds the steps for you. So it builds a monthly automated monthly trends report that runs every Hey, everyone. Sorry about that. The Wi Fi disconnected. We just moved into a new office, and the Wi Fi disconnected. So let me see if we can get back in the system. Hopefully, it was only off for about a minute or two, but I'm gonna go back to share my screen. And then again, just kinda summarize, we we built the agent over here so it can fully build, an automated agent within the Campfire tool. And then from there, what it can do is it can automatically, you know, run a recurring report or anything like that. So it actually builds, like, an agent in the background. The agent will automatically kind of save and run a recurring basis and everything like that. So with that, we can build all the agents within the Campfire platform and have, like, a monthly trends report that runs automatically. So, essentially, like, you know, it runs. It gets your income statement, balance sheet, gets your transactions, but the agents can also generate records and generate reports and everything like that for you in Campfire. So a fully automated agent engine we have within the Campfire platform. So, again, you can ask a natural language to build any reports or features or functions. Otherwise, in in Campfire, we also have the ability to build a recurring agent as well. The in Campfire agents can also do things like in the closed checklist, build things like a flux analysis. So it can run, like, a flux analysis for us. So you have the geo account, period one, period two, the differences, and then all the commentary as well. So we have all the kind of flux that we can build. So it can write all the commentary for us on a period by period basis. So AI can help do that. And then the AI can also help automate, like, your journal entries as well, like the missing accrual search. It can run and go find your accruals for you. So it can really go and find all your accruals, your accrual subledger, and then even prepare, like, the journal entries for your accruals as well. So that because you can write to the ledger with the right approvals in the system. So with that, we have a lot of the agents within the system, the AI tasks within the system. But Campfire, even without AI, is still a fully kind of complete ERP and accounting system. So on the revenue side, we have, of course, revenue recognition, transactions, customer management. In accounting, we have journal entries, intercompany journal entries, invoices, bills, vendors, amortizations, fixed assets, leases, the closed management, everything like that. The closed management workflow we're sitting on right now is actually like if you use a FloQast or a BlackLine. It's a full replacement of those tools. So you have the task here. You have the entity. You have it assigned to, completed by, reviewed by, the journal entries, approvals for everything like that, custom items within the closed checklist. And then, of course, you have, like, transactions and everything like that. So a fully customizable closed checklist within Campfire. And then, of course, you have things like your leases. So you have the full lease accounting module within Campfire, which can track on a day by day basis. What is, like, your payments? What's your interest? What's, like, all of your right of use balance? All of your changes. So we have full lease accounting in Campfire where it automates your journal entries. We have fixed assets in Campfire as well where the fixed assets will literally go out and build out your full fixed asset depreciation schedule off of the purchase that you have, what's the initial value, salvage value, netbook value, everything like that, depreciation start and end date within Campfire, amortizations as well. So full amortizations within the system. You can build the amortization sub ledger. We have full amortization within the Campfire. Cash management, cash reconciliations, the flux analysis, everything you'll kinda need within a accounting platform we have within the Campfire system. And the last thing we have is we also have revenue recognition. So with revenue recognition, we can actually build revenue contracts to basically build a whole depreciation or not depreciation, revenue amortization schedule where we amortize deferred revenue, book it into service revenue, everything like that. So we have a full, like, revenue recognition engine within Campfire. So we can adjust the contract, generate subscriptions, usage, milestones. We can invoice off of them as well so we can send invoices out of Campfire. We have Dunning too so you can invoice reminders and have invoice reminders automatically send out of Campfire and then manage all of the kind of revenue versus invoicing in the Campfire tool as well. So one of the last things we'll go over is some of the integrations we have within the tool as well. So within the integrations in Campfire, we integrate the tools like Ramp, Topalti, Brex on the AP side, bill.com. We integrate with Stripe, so a native Stripe integration, Plaid, VOA Cash Pro, JPMorgan, HubSpot, Salesforce, Snowflake. We integrate to hundreds of payroll tools actually for our our partner Finch and have integrations to tax software like Avalara, Anrock, Sphere, all those tools within within Campfire. We have auto logs, internal controls, permissions and duties, custom dimensions, everything like that within the Campfire system. So fully fledged kind of accounting platform and ERP platform for mid market finance teams. So if you have a finance team in house and accounting team in house, it can provide a ton of automation for what we can provide for our customers here. But with that, we'd love to answer any questions you have. So if there's ever any questions, please just put them into the chat, and we're happy to to answer them. And, hopefully and I apologize about cutting off on the Wi Fi. We are in a completely new office over here in our NYC office. So we, unfortunately, had the Wi Fi cut off midway there. So ask questions. I think push into the system here. Joseph asked a question about what types of industries are using Campfire. Joseph, that's a really good question. And you'll notice something we didn't show in the product demonstration is, like, inventory or manufacturing. We are primarily for services based businesses. So if you're a financial services, software, project management, real estate, health care, software, anything like that for financial services or if you are, like, a asset light business, we can fully solve for you. The one thing we don't have is inventory and and fulfillment and manufacturing. Those are things that we're kind of releasing in the future. Dino asked a question about is the revenue product something like a full replacement for tabs or Maxio? I would say, Dino, we are, like, a lighter weight version of tabs or Maxio. If you use, like, the full like, every single feature in tabs or Maxio, there's gonna be some features that they have that we don't because all tabs and Maxio do is focus on AR and revenue recognition. So you use every single feature that they have. There may be some things that they have that we don't, like certain invoicing, kind of custom invoicing schedules. But if you just use, like, high level tabs or Maxio, then we can definitely be a replacement. Though, you know, I will say we integrate tools like tabs. So we do have integration and partnership with tabs as well. So if you'd like to bring both of those look like, you'd bring them into Campfire. So questions about industries. Joseph asked as well, how many tags can you apply to each GL account transactions? You can actually apply unlimited custom dimensions. So on custom tags, you can apply a location tag, a department tag, a product tag, a project tag, all of those. It's completely unlimited for how many tags you can apply to GL transactions. And then for someone asked about how Campfire handles bank transaction classification and multicurrencies. For multicurrency, we actually use the triple ledger, and then for payments, can book the realized gainloss for you. And then for bank account and bank transaction classification, what we do is we actually help classify the bank transactions both through AI and logic rules we can give the system suggestions for keywords. And when it says a keyword in the description, have it auto applied with specific GL account. And then the categorization, it's basically like Mohammed, you can you can essentially give it a rule that says, like, hey. If you have a certain word in the description of the bank transaction, have it auto hit a certain GL account or have it hit a certain vendor or certain department or customization. Those are all some of the auto categorizations that happen, for bank transactions that flow inside Campwire. Maria, agents, unfortunately, it cut off there. That's that's our fault. The Wi Fi cut off. So we actually missed the most powerful thing with agents, but agents can build reports. The most common use case of agents is actually auto booking journal entries. So it can create journal entries, put journal entries through the approval process. It can create invoices, fixed assets, leases, amortizations. The most common agent that's actually being used today is lease agent where you give the agent the PDF of your lease. It scans the PDF, finds a discount rate, prepaid cost, lease incentives, and builds the full lease amortization schedule for you and automates the scheduled journal entries. So it can create records and objects in Campfire as well, not just reports. Joseph, our help desk is actually one of the most powerful features of Campfire, which is that we are just accessible through Slack or Teams or email. So if you do have a quick question, you can build a case within Slack. And we actually have two minute SLA time. So we respond because we have teams all over the world that help respond and answer questions within Campfire. So we have all of those. Francis asked a question about roles and permissions. Francis, we actually have public customers on Campfire, US NYC listed public customers. They can be very granular down to an individual, down to an entity, down to an integration. It's view, edit, access features on every single object. So we have over 2,000 permissions within Campfire down to an individual, like, integration level by user, by entity. So very granular, role access based permissioning within within Campfire itself. So a lot of the kind of access permissions are something that we we natively have. And, actually, a lot of the AI tools actually flow through those permissions as well. So if you don't have permission to a certain area, the AI tool actually block you off, so not everyone can just use the AI tool to find that information. But, yeah, I just wanna say thanks so much. And, again, I apologize for us kinda dropping off in the in the middle there for the Wi Fi. We'd love to show you a deeper product demonstration of Campfire with the team. After this call, someone will reach out to see if you wanna see a more deeper product demonstration of Campfire, and we'll kind of get you through the evaluation cycle, and we'd love to show you a more tailored product demonstration. But with that, we'd love to say thanks so much for your time, everyone. Have a great I know it's Thursday, but have a great rest of your week and weekends. And, we'd love to see you later and see what we can do for your business. We'd love to partner with yourselves and Campfire. So I'll say thank you so much for your time, everyone, and, we'd love to see you later. So thank you.
