Transcript for "Campfire Product Demo 9/16": Hello, everybody. Hey. Welcome to, the Campfire live demo for today. I'm Brad Dillon. I'm a solutions consultant here at Campfire. I'm a licensed CPA, and I'm here to show you a little bit more about what Campfire can do for you and your business to, make your your life easier on the ERP front. To kinda kick things off here, just to kind of explain who we are, we are the AR native e the AI native ERP for modern finance teams. What we're able to offer through the Campfire platform is, you know, much much faster closing times up to five times faster in some in some of our, clients cases, handling we're right now we're handling $22,000,000,000 in annual transaction volume, including several customers that have millions of transactions per year. No problem. We're seeing, you know, multiple tools that were previously left onto other in in separate software systems being consolidated inside Campfire. So for example, we do offer leases. We do offer period closed checklist for capabilities. We do offer some FP and A, capacities as well, as well as our AI systems built right into the platform. And then also, you know, just down here below, we we we are SOC two and and and SOC one certified. We've been working with major clients such as, Decagon, Posthog, Twelve Labs, and Replit. To break down what is the Campfire platform, we we really only have two modules. It's core accounting and revenue automations, and those cover the entire system, which includes your reporting, your revenue recognition, your core accounting functionality, such as your amortization schedules, your fixed assets depreciations, your period closed checklist, etcetera, as core as well as, of course, the, you know, raw GL transaction posting capabilities. Spanning this entire system, we have EmberAI, which is our own proprietary in house, AI system that we've built. We have developed our own large accounting model for performing accounting calculations running on our own GPUs. What this is able to produce is a very, very high degree of accuracy, as well as a paper trail, presented in Python code that shows exactly what was done to get the outputs presented from the AI system. Not only that, but also Campfire integrates seamlessly with the rest of your existing finance stack. So if you have, like, Ramp or Bill or Brex or, you know, Airwallex or ADP for your payroll, or maybe you have, you know, HubSpot or Salesforce or your CRM, we can connect with that from Campfire and have that information passed into the system seamlessly automatically. Not only that, but also it will draft up the journal entries, as appropriate when data comes in from those, external systems. One more thing to, something else I'm gonna call out here is, like, you know, why why why can't fire? Like, you know, you're okay with the AI native ERP system, but, like, what can that really do for you? Couple of things. We have a continuous forecast capability where we're able to call the number before the the period is even closed using our AI functionality. We have the ability to, handle manual work via our agents. So for example, if you have, uncategorized transactions coming in, you had to manually move those before, Our agents can do that for you going forward as well as match your, you know, outgoing payments to your bills and your incoming payments to against your invoices. We're also kind of, you know, governed by design. And by that, I mean, we really have this, set up as a human in the loop system. We're let let we're like, yes. AI is doing a whole lot here, but we always have human eyes on this, where appropriate. And then finally, you know, for getting over to Campfire from an from an existing system, we have a really quick, switch over time. We can have you live in as few as four weeks. We have a migration agent for moving your data out of legacy systems such as QuickBooks, and that that that we'll bring that over on the transaction level into Campfire. And we really are built for scale. So our system is set up such that, you know, if you go from, let's say, $5,000,000 in revenue all the way up to $20,000,000 or $200,000,000 a year in revenue, we're able to scale with you, no problem. So for example, Rep Replit did exactly that. They moved all the way up to $200,000,000 in revenue without having to have additional accounting hires, using our system. We we we were set up well to have you ready for SOX and audit ready, readiness. So we have a, you know, very granular levels of controls available on here, to make sure that when the time comes, you and your team are ready for an audit. Implementation, like I said, is four to six weeks really quick. We do handle, multi currencies and multiple books. So if you have multiple entities with multiple currencies, we have no problem handling that. I'll show that off here in a second instead of the demo. For customer support, our support teams are, primarily made of, former former accountants, CPAs. They are located, on-site in our own offices, so you will have a direct, you know, line with them. And then, you know, for like I said, for AI systems, this is something we built in house specifically designed for, accounting systems. Now I consider and talk about all these buzzwords all all day long, but I really wanna show you the platform itself, which brings me over to the Campfire platform right here. I'm gonna start with our reporting functionality right here on the top left. If I go to income statement right here, gonna make make this year to date so we have a little bit more data to play with. Gonna mark this as quarterly, which, by the way, we do have the ability to support fiscal calendars instead of instead of, calendar calendars. So if you have a non December 31 year end, no problem. Gonna do this accordingly. What this is showing right here, this is showing all of the entities in this environment rolled up into one, line. So we have, like, UK, India, California all rolled up here. If If we click into any of these, we'll see the underlying transactions. So, for example, if we look at, service revenue for q two twenty twenty six for 3,300,000, click on this, it's going to show you the underlying transactions that constitute that value right here in your credit column. And all this really is doing is opening up a new page on our transactions page under accounting and applying the filters from the income statement to get that to get that information. If we wanna break this out by entity, what we can do is we select the funds we wanna see. So for example, if we if we pick UK and California, it's going going to still show them combined. But if we go over here, columns, entity, This is gonna show those those entities broken out into columns and then have your combined total at the end right here. Something else to call out as far as our translation abilities, so we pick The UK right here. It translates automatically into the parent company currency, which is US dollars in this case, using rates from the European Central Bank. However, we can present it in the book currency. We're using euros for The UK in this example because this is covering covering the entirety of Europe, so we're recording the transactions in euros. And then, of course, if you come into these transactions, 1,060,000, we can still see this in euros right here. Finally, on this, once you're happy with the view, you can save this as such and then come back to it whenever you'd like right here. Stepping through the other reports we have available real quick, we have balance sheet, also drillable. Click on this. You'll see the transactions for that account. Coming further down here, we have cash flow right here. We have trial balance. We do have a budgets capability. So if you have budgets that live somewhere else outside the system, you can upload those via CSV and compare them against your actual information inside Campfire. So if you look at the twenty twenty six budget by department right here, you'll be able to see these comparisons. Budget versus actual right here. Coming into reports, what I do wanna show is that we have, a lot of reports that come with the Campfire system automatically, such as revenue by customer right here or expenses by vendor down below. But then we have the ability to create a custom report up here in the top right. Create new report. You can either create from the transaction level up like a pivot table or create a customized version of an existing financial statement right here. Do custom financial statements. Call this Brad's, September I slash s. Forgot counts. Gonna make our cadence quarterly. Next page. Do entities. Next page. Save report. Going to move this to be a year to date, so we have the same data we were looking at a moment ago inside the income statement. But now what I'm going to do, I'm going to go to edit right here on the far right. And what that's going to do is gonna pop up these gray dots to the left of each account, making these now drag and droppable. So for example, in this version of the income statement, if I wanna exclude our rent and facilities, I'm gonna grab this and drop it in to remove rows. I'm gonna do the same thing with insurance expenses. Something else is that we have the ability to create custom groups in here. So if you add custom group right here, add group, gonna call this separated OPEX. We get this down below right here. I'm going to drag meals and sales commission into separate OPEX. These are now looped in underneath the subcategory. Then if I wanna put this back inside the other OPEX category, I can grab this and drag it up there. You'll see that it's now nested underneath operating expenses. So, basically, it's very easy to set up, different nested categories inside, inside Campfire. Once you're happy with this, you can save this report, and then you can leave and come back to it very easily. So my search bar up here, that's in Brad's September IS, which is this one right here. Click into it. Go to OpEx. Go here, And you'll see that our category is still right here. One more thing to call out with all these reports, these are all downloadable to CSV, so we go to actions right here. We can download it right here, if we if we'd like to. Additionally, you'll see this button on most screens inside Campfire, this ask Ember button right here. This allows you to open up our AI tool, Ember, and ask questions about what you're seeing. I'm going to dive into this in more detail in just a moment, but I wanted to call that out that this is available on this on the side screen throughout the system. Down below inside Ember, I'm gonna go in here into our chat functionality. This is where our AI tool lives in the system. This kind of functions similarly to a Claude or ChatGPT, but instead of being a generalist like those platforms are, this is really kind of considered to be more of a CPA. We train this on accounting data using our own proprietary large accounting model, and it's going to generate Python code that digs through your accounting data inside Campfire and gives you the results. So just to show you what that looks like, I'm going to move this to fast so we get a little bit, quicker answers here. I'm going to ask it for a list. Actually, instead of typing, I'm going to say this right here with the microphone. Hey, Amber. Please give me a list of the top five vendors by spend for July 2026. Hit send. Now what it's doing, it's compiling a Python code that will, execute the request. And why I keep bringing a Python code is that this is going to give you a record that you can look at later on, a paper trail to speak of, that your auditors can come back to later on and make sure that any any records or reports that were generated through Amber actually have traceability back to your raw records. The paper trail lives right here. I'm gonna go go into that in just a moment. Before I do that, we see that our, you know, results have come out right here as well as an exportable or downloadable CSV right here. The results that can be delivered from Ember can be files such as CSVs, Excel files, PowerPoint presentations that can be downloaded here. You also can deliver these results to, you know, email or Slack. We get a paper trail right here. Go steps. This is gonna show the Python code that was run to get this. And why this matters, this is able to you're able to see exactly what happened versus, oh, it went inside the AI system and it's giving back our best guess. This is actually giving, a very very direct explanation of what's happening. The goal here being, increased transparency, when we when using AI inside your accounting system. Not only can you use this as a chat functionality, of course, we do have the ability to support agents inside of Campfire. So if you go to agents right here, this is a listing of our agents that come with the system as well as some custom ones. So these ones in green, like continuous close, AR, AP, matching, those are continue those are agents that come with the system. These ones in purple are ones that are cut have been custom made. So for example, this ninety day revenue forecast right here. We click on this. This is going to create a ninety day revenue forecast based on your GL actuals from the system. So Amber does have the ability to create, prospective forward facing reports and, predictions based on historical trends and and instructions given to it. In this case, we have no schedule on this, but we can set up to to run daily, weekly, or monthly and then deliver the results to us via email, inside the system, or via Slack. These are very easy to to set up. To build an agent, all you have to do is go back inside Ember, type in down here, say, hey. Give me an agent that that creates this report with these specifications. You can even upload a template file right here, using the paper clip. Just to showcase some of our existing, agents that come out of the box, I do wanna show off our flux analysis. So we go to on demand right here. Flux analysis right here. To create a flux analysis inside inside Campfire, all you have to do is come here and hit create new flux. You can compare period versus period or budget versus actual. But just to show you what one looks like that has already been created, this right here is June versus July 2026. Click on this. When we run this, Amber is going to run through your Campfire system, look at everything that's been going on, create an AI summary of what's happening, including a variance by department and a variance by category. And then it's gonna come down below, and it's going to generate AI explanations for each account and what is, what appears to be happening for each of these. So for example, for customer support right here, we had a huge drop off. You're gonna see the AI explanation right here. And then, of course, these are downloadable. And if you want a a more customized customized, flux analysis, you can always go into Ember Studio and say, hey. Give me a flux analysis that includes x y z, and even save that as an agent that runs so, runs every so often. Back inside our, our agents listing here, I do also wanna call out our continuous close agent right here. What this is doing, this is chronically looking at your transactions. Go to transactions here. Gonna step out, step back in. It's looking at your uncategorized transactions and looking for any trends that may suggest a need for an AI rule. So for example, right here, which is AI rule. This is looking at behavior that it that has been recognized and suggesting an auto categorization rule based on what has happened. So in this example, we have these uncategorized examples. We have a precedent where somebody has come in here and and classified these to a different account or other different information. And now it is suggesting a rule down below where if all of these criteria on the left are true, then these fields will be up updated on that, GL, transaction record automatically. If you're okay with that rule, you can hit save rule, to have this be active going forward. Back inside Ember, I do want to, call out the other the other tabs on here. We go to settings. Something else I wanna talk through with this. We have the ability to save skills. These are essentially agents or pre established lines of logic that can be called from inside the Amber chat. So we go if we go here and hit backslash, this will give you a list of skills. This is very helpful if you have a situation where you need to have, kind of one off information that's included with a prompt. So, for example, if you have a skill that is running a report, you're going to need to be able to to specify which period you want the report to be run for, and for which entities, for example, or which accounts even. Those can be saved here and shared across your team. Something else we have is we have MCP connectors available for Ember, so So you can connect this directly to other systems, other fintech software systems. So for example, we have a prebuilt connection to Ramp and Stripe right here, but we also have, if you go to add custom connector, the ability to connect to anything that has a remote MCP server URL available. And, really, the reason why you'd wanna do this is that this is going to let Ember look at the data that has not been passed over to Campfire. So, for example, inside ramp, if you have non gap data that is not being passed over via the integration, once you connect the MCP, MCP connection, Ember is going to be able to go into your ramp instance and read additional data that may not have been passed over directly into Campfire. This will give it additional context and give it more accuracy when, pouring through your AP in its calculations. AP that loosens up ramp that is. One last thing inside here, we go to files. We have the ability to upload files in here, and these can be considered in Amber calculations going forward, including being mentioned in skills, So skills and agents. So for example, if you have a monthly, expense allocation agent that is running based on a headcount file that you've uploaded here, you can set that up, and it will consider these files. One last thing to talk on, that is talking about a moment ago, our paper trail right here and having that degree of auditability. This kind of brings up a a good segue into our settings here. Gonna Gonna talk a little bit more in detail about our, kind of our control set our control system as well as our connections to external systems. If we go to team here, this is going to give us a list of everybody that is in the platform as well as which entities they have access to inside Campfire. You have the ability to specify which entities they have they, they have access to. So if we go to actions right here in the top right, invite user, You can specify which entities they can see once they're logged in. We also have role based access controls, so I'm gonna go to create customer right here. In here, you can specify what people can read, draft, write, and approve, and we can get get this at a very granular granular level. And these permissions extend into Ember. So if you have, for example, an AP clerk that has been given access to AP records, they're not gonna be able to go into Ember and, look at AR, records there. They have to be you know, they'll they'll still be restrained by what you set up in here. We also have approval workflows available for this. So these can be set up, so if somebody has certain roles, that that you can even have a certain role or user, needed to approve something. Finally, on the on the settings page, I wanna show our connections right here. These are all the self serve connections that we have inside Campfire. This is a nonexhaustive list of the software systems that we connect to. These are just the ones that we have a UI based, settings, list of options that the user themselves can adjust even after implementation has been done. So we have, like, Ramp, Brex, Bill, Stripe. For banking, we have these plus Plaids, so if we're doing anything in in North America or Western Europe. CRM, we have HubSpot and Salesforce. You know, data lakes, we have s three and Snowflake available. And then for payroll, we have all of these. And then Finch, let's us connect to, anything that is not, featured here. And finally, for tax, we have Anrock, Avalara, and a few others. Now that we've kind of walked through the connections here, I wanna touch on our revenue capabilities. Come over here. This is our revenue dashboard showing our total revenue for the month, our customers, net retention rate, etcetera. But what's really driving this is the contracts system inside Campfire. We get a contracts right here. We have our just to show what what an example contract might look like inside here. We go to, this right here. Every contract has subscriptions, usage, and milestones that that, constitute the revenue schedule shown in that contract. Just to show you how this gets into Campfire, I'm gonna go back to contracts. The way to get a contract in here is you can either have it passed in automatically via mappings on HubSpot or Salesforce when you when you connect those to the system, you can upload them via CSV, or you can create them directly. I'm going to create a contract directly right here. Call this live demo contract. In parent company, we'll do Adobe. Next. And then you can upload a PDF of a contract right here. You wanna upload this from your from your, from your documents. Upload this one right here that has two subscription items, one for twelve months each and then one for, milestone right there. I am going to go and upload this. Hit open. When I hit next, it's gonna parse you this contract and give us the suggested, milestones and descriptions. I'm actually gonna change the start date on this one to be for this year, and this end is '27. So you can adjust this as you see fit. Also gonna adjust these. You'll see the products have been mapped in automatically as well. I'm gonna hit create contract right now, and we now see a contract right here that has subscriptions and milestones. The contract in question here didn't have usage data, but we do have the ability to support usage passed in from somewhere else, including overage rates. So if you have, like, products that are going over and have, like, a certain price that that needs to be hit once they hit that level, we can support that. So it'd be, like, API access, rate card will do decreasing price usage, Start date, today. End date, end of the month. Add usage line will do 1,000,000. Apply tiers. You'll see there's different pricing for different pricing tiers, and we can set these up on rate cards under settings. I'm not going to save this one. Instead, I'm gonna go to revenue and just show you how invoices are created inside here. We go to schedule invoices right here, and we have the ability to auto send invoices like this and hit next. Hit back and change this to be instead of annually, let's do quarterly. We have our four invoices teed up right here. Create invoices. And this is gonna create four invoices, and it's going to associate those back to the revenue schedule items. So we got revenue right here. Scroll over. We see these invoices right here. Each quarter jumps up to two one six right here. Clicking into one of these, you'll see your invoices. When you hit refresh, it's your invoice right here, and the transaction that was made to reflect this over here, putting deferred revenue and accounts receivable. And then just to round this out, I know that we're running coming up on time here. I do wanna touch on our other core accounting functionalities. We have bills right here. So we have the ability to hook up a, an email address to Campfire. And then as emails hit this, with PDFs attached, it will draft bills inside Campfire in the inbox section here. Once those are approved, then gonna need approval for somebody like a manager, somebody something like that to continue the approval process, and then they'll go to awaiting payment overdue or paid as appropriate. We also have amortization schedules and fixed asset schedules available. So we look at the amortization schedule right here. We'll see these, this amortization schedule for this prepaid right here. Fixed assets, we have depreciation schedules available. And then for leases, we're gonna do that in a moment. Just, you know, there's our fixed asset depreciation schedule right here. For leases, we have the ability to support, the, amortization schedule for for for an operating or a finance lease. So we look at this one right here. We show the amortization schedule right here. These can be uploaded via CSV or created through our creation flow up here in the top right. And then finally, just to close this out, we have our period closed checklist where you can have, automatic, journal entries, or journal entries automatically drafted to, for for certain postings. So for example, we're depreciating Bix assets for, September 2026. We're going to hit run. This is going to look at your depreciation schedules that have an item in September 2026 and include them on a journal that you draft. Once we hit save transaction right here, this will post the GL and update the appropriate fixed asset depreciation schedule records. I'm not gonna save this one, on live. I have some validations in place that are that are preventing me from doing so. One last thing on the on these, closed checklists is that these are, customizable. So if you're gonna add item right here, you can add additional items to your closed checklists, including if you want to even have, like, an AI item, do type every AI task. And you can type this prompt right here that that'll be become an ever prompt. So for example, give me a list of top five biggest invoices for, September 2026 just to give a simple prompt right here. Say task. This will be appended to your list shown down at the very bottom right here. If I hit run, so it launches in a new window. We will see, customers do this frequently just to have, kinda AI validations and double checking at the end of this. I know we're coming up on time, and I do see some questions in the chat here. I do I I do see somebody asking about does it connect with Mercury, and the answer is yes. How we would do that, back inside settings here, we're gonna go to these settings right here in the bottom left. Go to connections. We're gonna go down to Plaid right here. Connect bank account. US, Canada, do these two. Continue out with that phone number, type in Mercury right here, and there it is. So you would go through the connection flow like that. Once you have Mercury connected to this, we will be looking at your bank account transactions as they come in and go out and matching those against your open invoices and open bills. And that agent that is doing that lives down here under agents, AR. This is continually running, looking at your transactions, and making suggestions for it to match. It also can auto apply these against these open invoices once you have set it up to do so. Are there any other questions? I think I I think I see a few more. So a 100 times better than QBO. Always glad always glad to hear that. How are suppliers managed? So in those case, we would have our vendors. We've got a settings right here. We've got a payees. This is where both your customers and your vendors are living. Anybody who says vendor will do, like, type here. Type vendor. This is where your suppliers are gonna live. And if you go into a supplier, if you look at, like, Air Canada, for example, with the ability to set up, additional information about them such as additional emails here, you have to have an email with them because that is, or you're gonna wanna send, like, a primary email up for them. And then, you know, down below, you have your your shipping address, billing address, etcetera. These, will flow into, the the AP section of, the Campfire system. For for procurement, right now, we don't support we don't support that natively inside the Campfire system. My recommendation would be to hook us up, to an external procurement system. One thing that I didn't call out when I was going over connections here is that every field you see inside Campfire has an API, access point available. So we have no problem building custom, integrations to procurement systems or other, systems in the fintech space. So very easy to build those out. It's just a matter of just talking through what you need to have passed in here. And actually that is, you know, one more thing to call out, I guess, is that I I may have glossed over this in the income statement here. Go to year to date. Apply. We have the this, custom tagging system. So, like, location, product, project, segment. These are all just custom values that somebody has set up inside this, demo environment. You see we have, like, a term project a, product one a, etcetera. These are just tag values inside settings here, tag groups. These are fully customizable, groups you can set up, and they're also nestable. So if you need to have, like, for example, continent, country, state, city, office location, you can go that that many levels deep. So when you're passing in procurement data and you wanna have it, like, nest, like, okay, supplier for this region, then map that on a supplier, you could pass that information in here. Anything else? I know I'm, like, flying a thousand miles an hour here, but, any other follow ups on suppliers? I I I, I hope that answered the questions. Or Mercury? Okay then. Well, if there's nothing else, one last thing to call out here is that, I am, like I said, Brad Dillon. Please feel free to reach out to me at brad@campfire.ai with any follow-up questions. I'd be glad to put you in touch with somebody from our team and even give you a a demo that is, custom to you and your business. As far as the road map is concerned, what is there something in particular you're looking to looking to see on there? I will say that right now, we're working on a two a version two point o of our revenue and also, building out our AP, our AP functionality. So revenue right now, we are looking at being able to add even more features to this. And, yeah, for AP, we were looking to be we're looking at being able to instigate, payments from inside the Campfire platform. That's on the immediate road map. But there's a lot more than just just that. But please feel free to reach out to me. Like I said, yep, Brad@Campground.ai, and we'd be glad to, talk to you. Thank you very much for coming out. Bye.
