Transcript for "Campfire Product Demos":
Hello, everybody. Hey. Thanks for coming out here for our, live demo campfire. I'm Brad Dillon. I'm a solutions consultant here at, here at the company, and I, wanna go and dive on into this. I'm sorry. A little bit late. I'm sorry for the delay here. Gonna go ahead and search here on my screen here so you can see a quick overview of who we are and what we can do for you and your business. So I'm gonna go into our slideshow here. Here we go. So Campfire is the a r... AI native ERP for modern finance teams. We We offer our customers the ability to close their books five times faster compared to traditional ERPs. We have support for, hundreds of currencies. We have the ability to cover, you know, functionality that would previously be, allocated to multiple tools. So you you can kinda remove some of the things from your financial tech stack, overall. We're seeing millions of transactions processed every month on the platform as well as billions of dollars in transactions being passed passed through Campfire. We work with top tier, customers such as, Decagon, you know, Posthog, Twelve Labs, etcetera. And we are SOC one and SOC two, certified. We really have the... You know, the goal here is to have this be a a platform that companies cannot just get with, but can get with and continue to grow up to the point of going public on the system. We do have publicly traded customers using Campfire right now. To kind of give a quick overview of what the Campfire platform, entails, really what it covers is our core accounting and our revenue automation modules. That's the only two modules we have. It's just those two. Everything that we offer is contained within those two modules, including, like, our fixed assets, releases, general edge GL, for core accounting. And then for revenue automation, that includes, like, your ARR tracking, revenue recognition, etcetera. Spanning the entire platform is our Amber AI, which is our proprietary agent that we have built into the into the system from day one. We train this on accounting data, to basically give incredibly accurate results. And we developed Campfire with AI in mind from day one. Not just, you know, the the the platform itself is very strong, but also this connects very nicely with your existing fintech stack. So we have native integrations to AP tools such as, like, Brex and Ramp. We have, you know, payroll connections across the spectrum. We have strong connections with Salesforce and HubSpot, on the CRM end. We also have connections for tech... For sales tax providers, such as Avalara, Anrock, and Sphere. And then we also have a very robust connection with Stripe as well, for handling, like, payment information as it flows into Campfire. And then on the banking end, we work well with, Plaid, to be able to connect to just about any US or or European bank. And then, you know, kinda stepping away from, like, kind of the the... Just, like, the the connectivity here. You know, why Campfire? Really, the... A couple of big things we we have to offer, and I'll show some of this during the demo here today, is that we offer the ability for a continuous forecast. And by that, I mean, we have a forecasting tool that is gonna show you where you're going to land for the month before the period closes without being forced to post GL entries for closing, before the time is right. We also have the ability to build out and then run agents inside the Campfire platform as well. What this is going to do, this is going to let you, you know, automate a lot of the tasks that were previously taking up massive amounts of time, for your accounting team. And then, you know, kind of we have this... By by governed by design and keeping the accountants in command, what we mean by that is that we've kind of designed this with human in the loop, in the back of our mind. And by that, I mean, we we have it such that the agents will require approval from the end user in order to actually post the records. We really have designed this not only that we have AI as a as a tool, but such that AI doesn't, like, completely domineer and, take over your accounting team to the point where you have lost, the ability to control it all. Finally, it's very easy to move over to Campfire. We offer, the ability to to go live within four to six weeks for some of our customers. We have migration agents available for QuickBooks and NetSuite. And when we do our migrations, we bring things over on the transaction levels. You're... So you're not stuck with, like, oh, hey. Here's the opening balance. You know, we've lost the history. You're not going to have that problem. We we allow you to keep that granularity upon, your switch over to Campfire. And then kind of to my, you know, previous point, we have an AI AI native ERP system that is, you know, built for SOX and audit readiness. We offer fast implementation. We do offer multicurrency and multibulk functionality, so we have multiple international entities. We have the ability to support all that instead of Campfire, you know, natively. We offer, you know, world class customer support with a lot of our customers are connected to us via Slack with immediate access to the implementation team and even the people who work on the sales team on that deal in particular. And then finally, we... You know, when we advertise best in class AI, we really have designed this to be, you know, AI first. That was one of the one of the biggest things that we wanted to have here, including the ability to have consistent results when running your AI agents. We'll get into that in just a moment. But with that said, here is the Campfire platform. So this is the dashboard you see when you log into Campfire. We go to reporting. We go to income statement right here. This is our, income statement. We do year to date right here. Gonna move this to be quarterly. Just to call it out here, we do have the ability to support non December 31 year end if the, year ends if the need arises. In the calendar for this demo, though, what this is showing by default is all entities combined. So we have, like, California, The UK, etcetera. If we filter for just one entity, let's do The UK. You'll see the totals for just that one entity. If we click into any of these, we'll see that this is in the parent company currency right now, US Dollars. Click on this, 5,000. This is gonna show us the underlying transactions for that entity. If we come back into here, we move this to book currency. We're using euros for The UK because we want this to cover the entirety of Europe. The point here being that, the the geography and the currency is not necessarily married at the hip. You can, you can you can adjust this as you see fit. We're pulling in exchange rates from the European Central Bank as well via API. One more thing to call out here. If we do more than one entity in in a combined view, so we have a California and The UK. This is the combined total for those two. If we wanna see this broken out by entity, we go to group by columns, entity, and you're gonna see California, The UK, and the combined total right here. Not only can we group this by entity, but if we close out of this, close out of this, we get a rows right here. We see these rows like location, number of properties, project, etcetera. These are custom tag groups that we've set up inside of Campfire. You see over here, we see project one a, Kendo development. Basically, the point is is that you can assign, metadata to your transactions using this tag group system that will let you, hierarchically classify your transactions however you see fit. What's driving this? We look at our one seventy five for project one a for q one. We come over to the project column. We see project one a. This is the combined total of all those, transactions for q one that have project one a in the project column. We set this column up. Go to settings, tag groups right here. Each of those tag groups are right here. These correspond to a column on transactions, and the values that live inside these tag groups are shown right here under tags. So we do, like, project, for example. We'll see project one a, one b. You also see that these have Kenya development project as their parents tag, which means on the income statements, they'll roll up underneath Kenya development project. The point is that you can you can nest these as many levels deep as you would like, and you can have as many tag groups as you would like as well. Not only that, but also this is something you can continue to modify accurate implementation. No problem. Just go to tag groups, create tag group right here, and you can add values right here by creating a tag. One final thing to call out with these is that, values can be passed into these from external software systems via API connection. Stepping out of income statements, I wanna show our our report builder really quick. This is where we can build custom reports inside of Campfire. I'm gonna build a custom, you know, income statement here. You're gonna group it by accounts, make this quarterly, this by entities. Next page, save report. Gonna do this year to date right here. So now what I'm gonna do though is I'm gonna go to edit on the far left. When I do that, we have these gray dots that have appeared to the left of each of these accounts, which means you can now drag and drop these. So I'm gonna take IT expenses, put that over here. Take professional fees, put that over here as well. You'll see operating expenses has been dropping as I do that. I can also add custom groups in here. So you like add custom group, add group. We'll call it separated OPEX. This grouping appears down below, and we can drop things into it. So we'll take, like, the seven... We'll take this written facilities, put it in the separated OPEX right here. You'll see this is now found inside of here. The point is is that you can separate out these, your your information inside of here to build a custom report however you'd like. We see our customers using this a lot for getting manager... Managerial or investor, reports ready. Once you're happy with how this is laid out, you can hit save, step out, come back to reports, type in live. You You can come back to your customer report anytime you you would like, and this keeps your separated OpEx, separate categorization that you've set up here. One more thing I wanna touch on is our forecasting tool. This is what I mentioned earlier. This is the tool that we have available that's gonna let you see for your income statement, cash, customers, and vendors, not just where you are right now, but where you're gonna land at the end of the month. How this works is that when we come in here, we can... If we click on actuals, this is gonna show you just where we're at right now, like, what has been posted to the GL. So, for example, right now, we scroll down. We have, $25,000 of IT expenses that have been posted thus far for October. If we go to committed, you'll see this bumps up to 28,000. Where we're getting that from is that 25,000 has been has been posted thus far. We have 3,000 that is expected to be posted according to our amortization schedules for the rest of the month, giving us expected total of 28,000. Now that is just what's been posted already and was expected to be posted according to the subledgers, but it's only October 21. We got ten more days. That's where this estimates button comes in. When we click on this, this now has our AI tool, Amber. It's taking a look at, what our past behavior has been or whichever, actually, whichever methodology is shown right here. So methodology, hit change. In this case, we've been using trailing average using a look back period of six months to get this estimate. It's looking at past behavior and saying, hey. Not... You know, in addition to these sub to these subledger and the amounts that have actually been posted, we would expect this expense to be... To have this additional value, according to our history right here. You also even have the ability to pass a note right here to be considered when running this estimate or even upload files or have, MCP connections to consider as well. So for example, if you have, like, Brex or Ramp or or an external AP tool that has draft expenses, you could have this connection, active and have those draft expenses considered in your, forecasting. Stepping away from this, speaking of AI, I do wanna touch on our member AI tool right here. Come down here to chat. Gonna kick off a simple, prompt right here. Gonna do fast. Instead of typing, I'm actually just going to speak to Amber and have this run. Can you please give me a list of my top five biggest vendors by spend for July 2026? Gonna go and kick this off. What is happening here is that, you know, compared to, like, a cloud or chat, this is actually generating and then running Python code to get this output. And why this really matters is that months from now, if you have a, you know, auditor, management, whoever, about to come back in here and see this AI gener... Generated report or transaction that we've made inside of Campfire, you're gonna have this paper trail available that is gonna show explicitly in Python code what happened and how we got this output. So we go to steps right here. You can see all this code right here. I'm not personally an engineer, but this is one of those things that, you know, if you pass this code along to either an engineer or somebody else who has a cloud or a Chattervity instance that is not connected to Campfire, they can plug this in and double check to see exactly what happened here. The goal here really... This kinda reflects our idea of having, you know, auditability and transparency throughout the entire system. Not only can you run prompts inside of here, you can also create agents and skills. You got agents right here. This... These are ones in green, like continuous close, AR and AP matching. These are agents that, come with the system. These ones in green. In addition to those green ones, you also have this flux analysis tool that comes with the system, a flux analysis. This is gonna let you compare, period versus period inside of Campfire with, like, q one versus q two twenty twenty six, for example. This shows an AI summary of what happened for that, for those two periods by comparison, the variance by departments, and the variance by category right here, as well as an account by account breakdown of what happened according to AI, from period to period. Click on one of these. You see the detailed explanation right here. Back inside of Ember, in addition to these ones that come with the system, we do have the ability to build custom agents inside of Campfire as well. If you're not super familiar with agents, basically, all this is is just a pre established chains of logic, that you just built into the chat. You said, hey. There'll be an agent that every so often runs a certain process. So for example, we built this, agent called our rolling... Our five day rolling treasury cash forecast agent. What this does is the instructions right here. It's checking on our treasury accounts every day and is looking to see, do we need to move funds from one to another in order to optimize our treasury returns? All the runs for this are shown right here. It ran this morning automatically three hours ago. And you can see the output of these runs down below. Not just that, but also keeping in line with the Python code bit. You can go view view more down here. You can see explicitly what was done right here inside of this agent. So you have that audit trail available. Outputs from this agent, such as CSVs, Excels, and PowerPoints can be delivered not just inside the system, but also via email or Slack as well. Couple more odds and ends inside of, Amber I wanna touch on. Go to settings right here. You can build out skills inside of here that that can be called from the chat. These are just like agents, except for instead of running automatically. They run on demand from inside the chat. To show you what I mean, I come over here. Type in run backslash. This is gonna give you a listing of all your skills inside of here. Not just that, but you'll see it also gives you a list of your files as well. Files, this is where you can upload files into Campfire, and these can be considered inside of a member when running any kind of a process on request. This can even be considered when running agents or skills. We also have the ability to connect member to external software systems via MCP connection. So for example, we build out connections already to Ramp, Stripe, Avalara, and CryptoWirth. But going beyond these, if you... Anything that has an MCP server URL available, such as, like, a Brex or, like, a HubSpot, you can plug this in, and then Ember can read the data that is in the ex... Those external software systems. That additional access will let it consider, information that has not been passed into Campfire just yet via API connection so it has a fuller picture. So, for example, looking at draft expenses inside of Brex. Those haven't been posted yet. They have not been passed in the Campfire, but with this connection, Ember will be able to read it. One more thing to call out with with Amber is that we do have the ability to connect Amber to your Slack instance where you can ask questions of Amber from Slack. Stepping into revenue here, this is where Campfire can handle, you know, revenue. Overall, this is our dashboard. You see a total revenue for October, total customers, and net retention rate. We also see our recurring revenue waterfall down below. You can see a breakout in... Inside of this if we click on one of these. So August 2026 right here. You can see a breakout by customer for this month. Scroll down further. We see also a breakout by customer, revenue of our product right here. What is underlying all of this is our contract system. If we go into contracts right here, This is where our contracts live. If we look inside of one of these, click transfer. Our contract records are are up here in the header. These can either be created... As you're gonna see your contracts inside of Campfire, you can either upload them via CSV, create them manually, or have them passed in via Salesforce with a link back to our Salesforce or HubSpot, whichever CRM system you'd like to hook up. We have a link back to the CRM system right there. Well, how this works is that we have a revenue schedule right here, which is a projection of the revenue to be posted to the life of contracts. What is driving this is your subscriptions, usage, and milestones, all three of which can be passed in from your CRM system. So if you have, for example, subscriptions, $70,000 over the course of one year, this is gonna be divided ratably over the course of the, of the subscription. And you'll see the amount to be recognized every month. It's like poker contract one two three four, poker contract one two three four, one two three four, the same amounts going forward over the months. Campfire also has the ability to, to handle invoicing as well from inside the system. So just to give a a quick example on this, we look at demo contracts. Gonna remove this invoice right here. We go to invoices. We can go to schedule invoices or create invoice right here. In this case, we just have a subscription and a milestone. Gonna get invoices, schedule invoices. We'll do this with the lifespan of the contracts with the ability to auto send them, with the ability to, specify tax rate to be used as well. These are ones that have been written, into the system via CSV upload, but we can feed off of Avalara or EnROC as well to get those in here. We also have the ability to have a Stripe payment link built into our invoices as well. I'm gonna hit next here. Gonna do one invoice for the entire year. It's annual. Create invoices. When I did that, you'll see back on our revenue schedule that each of these items now has an invoice associated with it. If we go to our invoices, we go to this invoice right here. We're gonna see what this invoice looks like inside of Campfire as well as we go to actions down the PDF. This is gonna show us the actual PDF that is sent to the customer. In this case, we have the entire subscription plus our implementation services, a milestone right here. And then our payment information is shown down below. One thing to call out the invoices is they are fully customizable. So there's certain fields you wanna have on the invoice header. You can have those added right here. We also even have an a... An AI powered, AR matching agent available that is gonna be looking at your, open invoices and your incoming payments received on your connected bank account and then applying those payments automatically, as as it learns certain customer behavior. The The ones that need review, just as suggestions, are shown here, and your auto applied ones will be shown here as it become... As they, you know, begin to be auto... Automatically applied against your open invoices. One more thing to touch on, a couple more things to touch on inside of here coming out of revenue. We do have the ability to handle bills inside of Campfire as well. These can be passed over automatically from AP tools, but they can also be created inside of Campfire itself. You could hook up an inbox to Campfire, and then as emails hit that inbox with PDFs of bills attached, it will draft bills right here. As they go through the approval process, they can land land in the overview section right here. Coming into one of these, we look at one of our open bills. You have the ability from the bill to go down one of these rows down below and create an amortization schedule by scrolling the right. If this doesn't already have an amortization schedule, it'll say amortize. If it already does, there will be a link right here for your amortization, which is what we have in this case. Click on this. This will show us the amortization schedule that was made for this bill. Coming back to the bills right here, in addition to having, amortization set up from these, you can also set up fixed assets as well. How that will work is if we go into one of these bills, open actions or new transaction right here. Fixed assets are generated from the, transaction level. So create fixed asset, go to the process right here to create a fixed asset. Once the fixed asset is created, it will appear over here inside of fixed assets and have a depreciation schedule associated with with with each of the assets. Click on this. Laptop's right here. We have a depreciation schedule shown down below. We also have have the ability to handle leases inside of Campfire as well. So if you are a a lessee and you have an operating or finance lease, we can handle that inside of here, complete with the amortization and payment schedule included. This speaks to what I was mentioning earlier on the... Earlier on the opening remarks about how we can handle, you know, kind of consolidated functionality for a lot of existing tools. I also wanna show our our closed management checklist functionality. What we have right here, this is the ability to have a closed checklist for every month. These are fully customizable. We have a template right here at a check... At a at a check... Checklist template. You can add items to this, and you can have them show up every month, quarterly, or annually depending on your needs. Not only that, but also you can customize individual ones. So if you look at, like, October 2026, for example, we'll see our list of items to be done to close the period. We can see who they've been assigned to, who completed this, who reviewed this, and then the journal entry that was created for these for these items. Many of these will will draft journal entries automatically. So for example, amortizing prepaids. We hit run right here. It's It's going to look at our amortization schedules and look for ones that have an October, item, and it's gonna include that on this, transaction draft. To finalize this transaction, you just hit save transaction. This will post to the GL and update your amortization schedule such that items have been posted. To show you one more thing on here is that we can add AI items to this as well. Go to actions, add item. We frequently see our customers do this for spot checking. It'll be like other, type, and for AI task, Give me a listing of all payments that went out this month that were greater than $5,000. Hit save. And after you've added that task, it shows up down the bottom. We just have to hit run to kick this off. When we do so, it's gonna open up a new Ember tab, and it's gonna kick off this, this func... The the... This request. You can even have skills called from this if you wanna have more elaborate processes run manually through AI as part of your period close. I'm gonna leave some time here for questions. Are there any... Anything that, anybody wants to bring up? I am, all ears. You name it. You've got it. Anything at all? Anybody? Oh, are there any inventory capabilities? So right now at Campfire, we do not have a a built in inventory, capability, on the system, but I will say that we do partner closely with Cin7, DOS, and other inventory suppliers to get that information into the system. How that would work, just to show you briefly, if we go into here, we go to transactions. Transactions from those external inventory systems would flow into Campfire into the inventory section. The invoicing, the invoicing process fully automated or is this one off invoicing? So what I showed previously, we go back into revenue, we go to contracts, go back to demo contract right here. When we tee up our invoices, actually, let's go to one that does not have, the invoices already see that... Are already teed up here. When we go to invoices, when we go to schedule invoices, you just have to auto send invoices, and then all the invoices you create on the scheduling process will be sent automatically when the invoice day comes around. And then, do do we support a migration from from from Xero? We support migration from from Xero right now. What I was talking about earlier was our automatic, migration agents. We definitely have had customers who have come over from Xero, and we would be glad to work with you on that one. It just isn't a current... Like, it it is just currently not a automated, agent at this time, but that's something we can definitely handle. If there are any other questions, please feel free to, send those over to, to, brad at campfire dot a I. I see the last one from Richard. I see the one about Snowflake. We do we do sync with Snowflake. We do have a a robust connection with Snowflake, able to kind of, you know, pass that information to Campfire however you see fit. We do have a native connection with Snowflake. So... Yes. But, you know, I'm about about to end the show, but please, pass any further questions you have over to me at brad@campfire.ai. Just brad@campfire.ai. I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you very much, and, hope to see you again soon. Bye.
