Transcript for "Campfire Product Demos":
Hello, everybody. Hey. Thanks for, for joining us here today. Sorry about the delay. My name is Brad Dillon. I'm a solutions consultant here at Campfire, and I'm gonna walk you through today, who we are and what we can do for you and your business in the ERP front. So let me go and kick off my slideshow real quick here. So, you know, who is Campfire? We are the AI native ERP for modern finance teams. We're offering our our customers the ability to close their books five times faster than the the, than they used to, you know, with support for hundreds of currencies and the ability to get... To consolidate the work of, you know, multiple prior tools previously. So if you have, like, a separate, like, you know, lease accounting tool or revenue accounting tool or API or or maybe even, like, a, you know, bill tracking tool, we can handle some of that work, workload for you. We're seeing massive savings for our customers, and we are, you know, SOC SOC two SOC two and SOC one certified. We're seeing... I'll see millions of transactions processed through Campfire, every month. What the platform consists of, we actually only have two core module modules which covers the entire thing. That is our core accounting modules such... Which includes like our GL, you know, our closed management, prepaids, fixed assets, really everything except for revenue. And then we also have our revenue automation module, which covers our revenue capabilities. Spanning the entire platform is our EmberAI tool, which is our proprietary AI agent that is plugged into everything across the system. We designed this with AI in mind from the beginning, and so it's accessible throughout the entire system. We also have the ability... Offer the ability to connect, Campfire to your entire fintech stack. So if you're using, like, Ramp, you're using Bill for your AP, if you're using ADP for your payroll, you're using Stripe for your, you know, payment collections. We can connect that to Campfire natively and have that information flow in here seamlessly. And then as as for why Campfire, you know, a couple of the reasons here. You know, we do offer the ability to have a continuous forecast on here so you can see where you're going to land at the end of the month, not just this month, but the next two months as well based on your current, you know, performance. We we we have the ability to build out agents using our AI tool that will do the manual tedious work for you going forward, so you don't need to worry about that anymore. However, that said, we do have the... This design such that, human in the loop is kind of the design philosophy around here where it's like, yes, we have AI tools. Yes, we have automation. We offer the ability for our users to maintain control over what is going on versus letting AI kind of, you know, fight this and do whatever. And then finally, you know, how easy it is to get over to Campfire from existing systems. We have migration agents available that can bring transactions over from QuickBooks and, NetSuite automatically as well as, you know, any other, other ERP system. We can work with you to get that get that over here. Not just that, but also we bring things over on the transaction level when we migrate to Campfire. So you're not stuck with, like, oh, hey. What happened to this three years ago? You're not gonna be stuck with just an opening balance. You actually will have, you know, that granular granular transaction level detail in Campfire after migration. You know, we are fully, SOX compliant. We have comp... We have companies that are, you know, going through public audits on Campfire. Our implementation takes about, you know, four to six weeks on average. We have the ability to support multiple currencies and multiple entities with a consolidated view on here. For customer support, we do see our customers connected to us via Slack directly. You know, matter of fact, as a as a solutions consultant, I've had companies who have who have, you know, gone gone through implementation and still have the ability to reach out to me personally. I do respond to that. And then, you know, for for for AI, really, we design... We designed this using our large accounting model, which is our proprietary dataset used to train out, Embraer AI, throughout the system. So we do leverage Claude and other AI models for the language orchestration part of it or for the accounting calculations that is driven off our own accounting model. You know, I could just keep on talking about this forever, but I do actually wanna dive into what the platform itself looks like, which brings me to my demo right here. I'm gonna dive into our income statement real quick. What I can do here is do year to date, apply. We do have the ability to support a non December 31 year end. So if you have, like, January 31, March 31, we can support that as well on Campfire. Gonna move this to be calendar right here. What we're showing right here is a combined view of all of our entities together. But if we wanna see just one, we can click on that. So California, for example. Now we see just the amounts for California. We do, like, The UK, for example. We see this in the parent company currency, which is US dollars, but you can move this to be the book currency as well. We're using euros for The UK because it's covering the entirety of Europe. The point being that you're not necessarily tied to, geographically, for whatever currency you want to use for an entity. If we click into any of these values, like this 1,000,000 right here, we can see all the underlying transactions that make up that total shown in US dollars here, but we can move this to be euros by doing that. Q one, The UK, this account. We look at this quickly. We see, you know, 1,000,000 down here. Come back to our income statement. See that 1,000,000 right here. So very easy to tie that back out. Not only can we can we show more of the... One entity at a time, can we show multiple? It's like California and The UK. If we go over here and go to entity or go to, group by, columns, entity, you can see it's broken out by entity right here. So California, The UK, and your total. In addition to grouping by entity, we also have the ability to group by whatever, tag group you would like, which tag groups really are just a... Are just kinda like metadata that we can assign to transactions inside of Campfire. It's like facility, industry, location. These are all tag groups that we've set up for transactions in this environment. If I go to project right here, we're now grouping these by project. If we look at, like, project one a, one b, what... How... What... What's powering this? If we click on this one seventy five under the q one, this shows all the transactions for q one right here that have in the project column project one a. Where I got this from, go to settings. We go to tag groups. We just set up these tag groups here, and that will that will establish a column on your transactions. And then the values that can live in those tag groups are shown here under tags. Go to project. These are all the values that can live under the, project tag group. And, also, you can assign them a parent. So in this case, we gave them Kenya development project, which is why on the income statement, they roll up underneath that. The point is is that you can you can classify your transaction data in Campfire however you would like. There's no limit to how many tag groups you can have, and there's also no no limit to how many layers deep you can nest this. So you could have continent and then country and then state and then city and then office location and then case number if you wanna keep on drilling down, beyond that. We also have a customer report building tool inside of Campfire. So come over here. Gonna go to create new report on the top right, custom financial statement. This will let you easily build a customized, version of your financial statements on on here. So we'll do, like, broadcast... Broadcast Oct IS. Gonna group this by account right here. Gonna make this quarterly. Next page. We're gonna filter by entity if we want to. Say report. Gonna Gonna filter this for year to date. So this is the same information we just saw on the income statement. But now what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go to edit. And when I do that, we can see this, we see these gray dots that appear to the left of each of these. We can now drag and drop these as we see fit. So if we wanna move these out, we can remove these rows. We can add a custom group right here. So we have group separated effects. We have this group down below at the very bottom, and we can drag and drop, records into this as we see fit. So we'll take, like, software expense. We'll put that in a separate of effects right here. You'll now see that this is shown in the separate grouping down below. We can even take this separate grouping and nest it back underneath operating expenses. So, really, you can drag and drop this however you would like and have this rearrange however you'd like. This will have no impact on your actual income statement. This is just a a customized version of your income statement. You can also have formula rows. By default here in the income statement, we have all these, like gross profit, operating income, and net income. To see how these are being calculated, we can click this pencil right here. For net income, it is, taking our operating income, adding our other income, and then subtracting our other expenses. You can add more terms to this. You can also change the name up here, or you can add an... A new formula right here. So if you wanna have, like, ratios and like that, you could have, you know, item a divided by item b on here to create that. Once you're happy with this report, you can hit save, hit consolidation, go back to reports. If we go to broadcast, this will let me pull this back up easily. Just click into this, operating expenses. You see that our our our separated OPEX is still present. In addition to all... To the... This report builder, I do wanna touch on what what what we can do for, like, forward facing information. This is where our forecasting tool comes in right here. What I wanna show on this is our income statement capabilities. What this is showing by default when you come in here is your actuals plus your committed. What I mean by that, if we look at our actuals, this is just the, amounts that have been posted to the GL thus far. So if we scroll down to, like, IT expenses, for example. Thus far in October, we... We've had 25,000 posted to IT expenses. If we hit committed, you'll see this jumps up to 28,000. How we got that information, if we click on this, this is taking the 25,000 we've already posted plus the 3,000 we're expected to post according to our amortization schedule for this month, which will give us our expected final total for October of $28,000 according to the actuals plus the sub ledger. You can even see what sub ledger... Ledgers are being considered right here. So for, like, we have a revenue sub ledger, we have our lease schedules, prepaid amortization, fixed asset depreciation, etcetera. Now, you know, that's great and everything. That's showing us what we're expecting to have at the end of October according to our actuals plus our committed, but there's still a few days left in October. So we could have additional values that are added into that. To get a view of that, we're gonna go to estimates. Now these numbers are written in gold right here. What's happening is that Embra dot ai is looking at our historical our historical data and making a projection, that says, hey. We think we're gonna have this much more, for the rest of the month based on our our historical trends. The specific methodology being used to to to get this information is shown right here. You could... By default, it has let Amber choose. It shows you what met... What methodology was used. But you can change this to be whatever you would like right here, and you can pick out, like, how far back you want this to look in running. Not only that, but also you can add in notes that you want to consider. So, for example, if you have a revenue projection and you're thinking that we're gonna close a big deal worth, like, you know, $20,000 this month and it's gonna come in the... Come in by the end of October, you could add this note right here. It would show up in your notes above, and you can toggle these on or off if you want them to be considered in the in the forecast. Finally, you can also upload files into this to be considered, or you can even, connect this to an external external software system via MCP connection and have it consider that. So for example, HubSpot. We have a native integration with HubSpot. As deals close in... Inside HubSpot, they'll pass into Campfire as a contract record. However, if you have deals inside of HubSpot that are, let's say, on the contracting stage or the, you know, legal red liner view stage or demo stage and you want those to be considered in your revenue forecast, you can turn on this MTP connection, come into the notes and say, hey. Consider my deals that are at the demo stage as, like, 25, 30% of their value and have those added in the revenue forecast accordingly. The point is is that this tool is gonna let you see where you're gonna land at the end of the month, at any point without being forced to to make, GL transactions, you know, too early or prematurely. Speaking of AI, we come down here to Embraer AI. This is our men... Main Embraer AI chat to, chat tool, you know, view. If we type in a prompt here, we'll try, like, you know, give me a view of my top five biggest vendors I spend for, your day 2026. Press enter. When I kick this off, this is not just going into an AI black box somewhere. What's going on here is that we are generating and then running Python code to get this output. And why that matters is that, at the end of this process, we're gonna be able to see the Python code that was generated and then run to get this output. We're also gonna be able to see a paper trail that shows that shows explicitly what happened to get this to get this output. While this is running, I also wanna call out that Ember has the ability to generate Excel files, CSVs, PowerPoints, no problem. You can even upload files into this and have them considered as, like, a template. Or if you wanted to run off of a existing document, you can upload those right here. The files generated will be shown right here. You also can access Amber from just about anywhere in the system. If we go over here, we're gonna ask Amber right here. This allows you to open up a sidebar with your Amber chat whenever you'd like. The paper trail I was talking about with the Python code is shown right here, paper trail steps. This shows exactly what happened. I'm not personally an engineer myself, but you can take this code and put it somewhere else, like an like an external AI, tool or pass it along to your audit team, and it'll it'll show them exactly what was what was run inside of Campfire to get an AI generated record or report. Not only can you ask, like, kind of questions via chat here, you can also build out agents or skills inside of Campfire. So if we go to agents right here, this is where we build out agents for running, you know, repetitive tasks automatically. These green ones, like continuous close, AR and AP matching, and invoice recovery, these come with the system automatically. Your AR matching tool, for example, is gonna look at your incoming payments and match it against your open invoices automatically. These are... This is where you can approve them or deny them, manually. But as time goes on and more of them get approved, they'll land in the auto apply section right here. To show off one of our custom agents, just as an example here, we have our fifteen month rolling p and l forecast. This agent was built out using chat. We just said, hey. Help me build a... An agent that runs every so often that will generate this p and l forecast. Go to edit. We can dictate how often this is gonna run and who can run this manually. If we go to runs, we'll see a listing of all the times that this has been run. We click on this. We script... Scroll in here. This shows the output that is delivered inside of Campfire. Go to the bottom, this is all the files we can download, including the Excel file that shows the actual forecast right here. The output from this, agent or any agent can be delivered, via email or Slack or inside of Console. So if you give somebody's email address in here, it can pass it along automatically to them. Back inside here, I do also wanna show off our flux analysis agent. We go to flux analysis. This allows you to see budget versus actual performance inside of Campfire or a period over period. So for example, q one versus q two twenty twenty six. This shows an AI driven, breakdown of what happened overall, the variance by department and category, as well as an account by account breakout of what happened. If we click if we click in any of these, we can see, we see Amber's estimation of what happened here. Back inside our agents listing, if we go to, one more thing. If we go to settings, right here is where you have your skills. These are basically, like, agents that you can call from the chat box directly. So if you have, like, a a prearranged skill, for example, that you wanted to run for a certain period of time, you can, you know, call up in the chat and pass in that period of time. You can also upload files and policies into Campfire and have those considered when running if you'd like them to. We also have the ability to connect to external systems via MCP right here. So go to browse. This is what I was talking about on the forecast tool. Go to add custom connector. Any external system that has an MCP server available, we can we can attempt to connect Ember to that, and then Ember can... We'll be able to connect... We'll be able to consider information in there that has not been passed into Campfire yet via integration. Speaking of integrations, if we go to settings right here, go to connections, this is where all of our self serve connections live. And by that, I mean, these are just the ones that have a UI component where after implementation is done, the end user can come in here and edit this themselves as they see fit. So for example, if we look at our HubSpot connection, go into this, we have our fields, our sync settings, etcetera that can be edited manually from inside the Campfire platform. Beyond the one shown here, we also connect with just about any software system out there that has API docs available. We have built plenty of connections, and there's a law... A longer list of connections that we have experience building for on our website. And also inside the settings page, I do wanna show off our... On team right here. When you invite somebody to the system, you give them, entity access and a role as well. And those roles, shown right here, either create custom role, this is going to dictate what they can read and draft, write, and approve inside of Campfire. And these permissions are considered when they run anything through Ember. So, for example, if they're an AP clerk, they're not gonna be able to ask questions about revenue or AR inside of Amber. We also have approval workflows, so you can dictate what need... Who needs to approve what, based on, you know, what what kind of transaction... What's kind of record is being made or edited inside of Campfire and who is doing this. To touch on revenue briefly, we go to revenue. There's a revenue dashboard right here. Just a couple of key metrics at the top. Our total revenue, customers, net retention rate right here. We have a recurring revenue waterfall down here below. We can see a drill down of this by month. If you click on, like, August, for example, see drill down by customer right here. If we scroll down this page, we can see that same report down below. We can also see a breakout by product down here. If we go to contracts, this is where our contract system lives. What this shows, if you click on a contract here like Faye, for example, this is gonna show a revenue schedule of the revenue that's gonna be recognized to this contract for the lifespan of it. And you can think of a contract like a deal or opportunity in HubSpot or Salesforce. These get passed in automatically when those get closed inside those systems. They'll link it back to the original system here. In addition to that, you can also manually upload or create contract records inside of Campfire. When they come in, we're gonna pass in the line items from those, you know, deals opportunities to HubSpot and Salesforce as subscriptions, usage, and milestones, and these will be used to create our revenue schedule. So in this case, for example, we had two subscriptions for one year each, twenty twenty twenty twenty six to '27 and twenty seven to '28. We'll see that these are broken out appropriately on this revenue recognition schedule right here. So for the first year, we're seeing $2.50 per month. It goes for $3,000 in totality divided by 12 to get that $2.50. You also see a truncated period right here, the smaller amount being recognized. For the next year, it's 3,300, so we have a larger amount being recognized every month. From the screen, we also can create invoices. So we schedule invoices. We can tee up our invoices for the lifespan of this contract. We're gonna make this go monthly. Gonna make this run to the end of... We'll do October, you know, we'll do 10/27/2028 right here. And we're gonna have this, auto send. We're gonna apply a tax rate as well, apply the San Francisco tax rate. This can be added inside Campfire. You can also have a Stripe link included on on the invoices for payment. Hit next. We're gonna hit create invoices right here to create these invoices. What this is gonna do, this is gonna create the... It was out of this. Excuse me. So I'm going to schedule invoices. Let me make this annual instead. We'll do end date here. We'll just do one year of invoices instead. I could make it annual. Do next. Create invoices. One year invoice for $3,000. Either way, this contract is that... There... There's hitting some kind of validation error on this. To show what an invoice looks like inside of Campfire, if you go to accounting invoices, the invoices are shown right here. This is what an invoice looks like inside of Campfire. The invoice that'll be delivered to a customer, we download the PDF, is shown right here. So it's gonna have your company's logo, this information at the top, whatever you'd like here, your invoice items with your subtotals, and your notes down below. I'm gonna save some time here at the end for some questions. While those questions are coming in, I'm gonna try and get a, a working example of this, you know, scheduled invoices. Please feel free to ask anything in the q and a, and I'll respond right away. And just to show you, this is where the invoices land. They're like a link back to the invoices from the revenue schedule right here. And then revenue will be recognized automatically when we go through our period close checklist. We have a check... We have a checklist available for, you know, period closeout right here, The ability to assign this to people. I have a question that I see right here. It says, are Ember and and and... And energetic reports analysis consistent across multiple runs in the same data, or are they very adrift? They will remain consistent across multiple runs. That is what the Python code advantage really is. So once you set up your agent one time, every time you run the same agent again, it's gonna run the same code. So you're gonna get a a a... You're gonna get the out... The same output. You're gonna get consistency with your results. To give an example here, go to agents. I'll find one that has a ton of runs. If you look at our treasury one right here, our daily five day rolling treasury cash forecast, we click on this, runs. This has been running every day and is looking to see, hey. Do we have... Do new funds from one treasury account to another in order to optimize our returns? Click on this. You see this output right here. We hit view more. This will show the code that was actually run to get this output. We go to another run. We're gonna see the same code and the same kind of output. So you're gonna get consistency here. For specialized, subledgers, so for inventory right now, we are reliant on external, external systems. And by that, I mean, we do integrate with, like, DOS and seven and other inventory systems, and that information is passed in as GL transactions into Campfire on the transactions page. For equity and debts, we, we actually... For for equity, we handle that, basically, that continues to live in Carta or other external systems, and then GL transactions are posted here, you know, manually via upload or manual creation. For fixed assets, we do have a built in ledger with the depreciation schedules for every fixed asset. We look at, like, one of these right here, like CyberPro, or maybe we have another one here. We look at, like, laptop one. This has a depreciation schedule right here. And then for, for debts, I I I... It depends on what you what you mean by that as far as what we can do for that one. Are there any other questions? So for retail and CPG, we do have some customers who are who are using that. I'm I'm kind of curious, like, which which retail platform you're using. We are in the middle of building out an integration to Shopify right now that can pass that trend... Those transactions into Campfire. We're doing that for a couple of clients. So we we can support retail slash CPG. It's a matter of which systems are you using. We'd like to talk to you about that. You know, maybe that's one thing that... One thing else to call out is that all the transaction fields inside of Campfire have an API access point. So as long as the, supporting retail systems have API documentation available, we should be able to build a connection to that and pass that information into Campfire. Do we have a public road map that you can share really... Real... Related to these types of, transactions? I am not too sure if we have a, public road map that we can share as far as, like, a visual, but I will tell you that we are in the middle of of beefing up our revenue recognition capabilities, which will include things such as, like, PO, you know, more more kind of editability and flexibility in our revenue recognition. Eventually, we would like to develop, inventory. That that is, like, the longer term roadmap. I can't give any specifics as far as, like, dates are concerned. But, basically, we are constantly pushing new, capabilities to the... To to, to to Campfire. Any other questions? I've really I've really kind of enjoyed trying to jump through these and see what I can do do for y'all. If there's anything else, please send me a message directly at, brad@campfire.ai. I'd be glad to, like, kinda, you know, send a send a response back, and, you know, maybe even get, like, a get get, like, a a customized demo for you and your team, set up. But that is, brad@campfire.ai. So b r a d. So thank you very much, and, thanks for joining the demo.
