Transcript for "Campfire Product Demos":
Hello, everybody. Hey. I'm Brad Dillon. I'm a solutions consultant here at Campfire. Thanks for coming out for the, live demo today, of, of the Campfire system. We're gonna... Before we kick in... Kick off the actual sandbox exploration, I'm gonna go over a little bit of a, brief overview of who we are and what we can offer for you and your business. Gonna wait a second for everybody else to file in, and then we'll go ahead and kick off the presentation, shortly. Looks like some people are still filing in, but I'm gonna go ahead and start to share my screen here. You go ahead and do this right here. Screen share. Enter screen. Looks good. So I wanna talk through, who Campfire is and what we can offer. So really who we are, we are the AI native ERP system for modern finance teams. We offer our customers the ability to close their books five times faster than they normally could. So what used to take, you know, like, two weeks in some cases can now... Can be, you know, just, like, a couple of days or even less than that. We're handling, you know, billions in in in annual transaction volume with support for over a 180 different currencies around the world. We offer the ability to handle, functionality that is currently covered by multiple different tools. We're able to handle all that inside of Campfire natively. We're we're processing, you know, millions of transactions. We're saving our customers hundreds of thousands of dollars per year. And we're working with kind of, like, top shelf, like, AI, companies out out here such as Treplet, Dekagon, Posthog. But even going beyond that, we've recently begun to expand our, you know, the the companies that we service be... Well beyond technology. I've seen, distribution companies come through here. I've seen consumer products come through here. I've seen, professional services come through here. So we're really starting to branch out and be able to handle, just about anything like a real true blue ERP system. And, of course, we are SOC one and SOC two, certified. Now, you know, as for what the platform actually, platform itself actually is, it really is comprised of two, main, two modules, which is our core accounting module and our revenue automation module. That's it. We don't have a bunch of, like, different, you know, sub modules and extra things. A lot of the things you see in other systems are included in one of these two. So for example, fixed assets, leases, prepaids, those are all included in our core accounting module. Revenue automation is really where where our revenue system and our revenue recognition capabilities, are offered as well. Most of our customers tend to get both of these together. You know, spanning the entire system is our Embra dot ai proprietary agent, which is, you know, kind of a a spanning, a system spanning, tool that allows our users to not only ask questions like any, you know, kind of AI chatbot, but also build agents to handle automations, throughout the system. And then even going beyond just the Kemper system, this is a, you know, modern way to plug into your existing finance stack. We have native connections to, like, Ramp, Bill, you know, and Brex on the AP side. On the payroll side, we can handle ADP, you know, then... And, you know, hundreds of other ones through our... You know, through connections via Finch. From the banking side, we have a connection to, you know, pretty much any major US bank or European bank through Plaid. And then we also have the ability to connect to, you know, different, like, tax, tax tax calculation providers such as Sphere, Anurag, and Avalara as well. And then, of course, we also have a a native connection to HubSpot and, Salesforce for your CRM needs. And then, you know, this kinda brings us over to, like, why why why why go with Campfire? Really, a couple things. First of all, we give you our users the ability to call the number before the close. And with that, I mean, we have a continuous forecast that is... That lets our users see not only what has been posted thus far, but where you're going to land at the end of the month according to your subledgers and an AI driven estimate. We'll be showing that during the product demonstration today. We also have the ability to to create, agents inside the system that will handle repetitive work that you've been doing again and again. This is something that, like, we... You can build using our our Embra AI tool inside of Campfire. And these agents not only, are are... You can... Not only can you build them here, they are subject to your control environment as well and generate a paper trail for the things that they do. So these are still... You know, these are these are automations that are still audit compliant and raw... And audit ready. We also have a set of steps that, you know, account and stay in command. And that'll mean that every every agentic action, is a draft that you can approve with a full audit trail, included, as I just mentioned. And then finally, you know, getting over to Campfire for an existing ERP system is really easy. We've seen our customers go live in in in this few years, like, you know, four to six weeks. We have migration agents available for both NetSuite and QuickBooks to bring that data out of there, automatically, into Campfire. And so, you know, in summary, we are a... An an... An a r... The AI native ERP system built for scale. We have you... We have our users ready for, like, a, you know, full on audit. We have quick implementation, full multicurrency and multi look functionality, strong customer support, which includes the ability to talk to our, support team via Slack. We are... You know, these are staff... This is staff with, you know, former big four accountants, a bunch of CPAs. You know, we're ready and willing to to help our customers get through anything they need. And then finally, you know, best in class AI, we really designed the system with AI in mind from day one. And as a result, our AI system is able to get an incredible degree of accuracy. We have a large accounting model that we use to train our, agent, which really has resulted in, you know, more accurate results than you would get through something like a a cloud or a Chachibuty. Those are generalist tools. Ours is designed specifically for accounting. Now all that being said, I do wanna showcase, what we actually have on the platform itself. Coming into here, this is our main page we see right here. If we go into our reporting right here, we can see our income statements, our balance sheet, etcetera. Gonna start with our our income statement right here. Gonna go for more data than normal, the year to date. Gonna move this to be quarterly. We do have the ability to support non December 31 year ends, so I still always wanna call that out. And what you're seeing right here, this is a combined total of all the entities in this environment. So this environment, we have The UK and The US rolled up underneath the Campfire LLC parent company. If we filter for just one, let's try The United Kingdom, you'll see the transactions for just that one in the parent company currency. I'm gonna change this to the book currency. So for The UK, we have great British pounds. And now we can see that, see those amounts right here. For anything you see in the income statement, you can click into it to drill down and see the underlying transactions. So for example, for q three twenty twenty six, for subscription revenue, if I click on this, we'll see the transactions that make this up, shown in US dollars. We can change this to be GBP right here. Quickly eyeballing this, you can see that this sums up to this amount shown right here. Back inside of our income statement here, I'm gonna select more than one entity. Now it is showing the combined total of California and The UK in these values right here. If you wanna see it broken out by entity, all we have to do is go over here, do do columns, entity, And now you can see for each period a breakout by entity. So California, The UK, and our combined total right here. Not only do we have the ability to group by entity on here, I close out of this, Close this so we have all the entities shown at once. We can also group by customizable tag groups. So we have, like, conference, one type, project, etcetera, right here. I go to projects. What we can see right here is we can see a breakout by project for the, across the board here. To give a stronger example on this, I'm gonna go into another demo environment that has more data for project. Gonna group this right here by project. And now you'll see we have, like, project one a under 10 about Kendo developments. How we got this right here is if we go to this one seventy five for q one twenty twenty six, you'll see in the project column, project one a right here. How we got this, if we go to settings and then we go to tag groups, anything you set up in here, so like project location, member properties, these will show up on your transactions as separate columns. And the values that can live inside these tag groups are found right here under tags. So go to tags, tag group, projects. We see our project one a, and we also see that its parent is Kenya development project, which is y on the income statement. It's rolled up underneath that. The whole point we're trying to get out here is that Campfire offers incredible flexibility for not only, assigning custom values or, dimensions to your transactions, but also, you know, a lot of flexibility for hierarchy... For creating a hierarchy, with these transactions. So for example, I've seen our... I've seen some of our customers do, like, continent and then country and then state and then city and then office location, you know, going as many as, like, 10 or, like, like, 12 levels deep on this information to get that incredible granularity. And then, you know, one more thing to call out with this, and this goes for all the fields you see on the transactions inside of Campfire, data from external systems, such as, like, a ramp or your payroll system, or or, like, you know, HubSpot, something like that. You can map values from the external systems into these custom tag groups just fine. So every field you see here has an API access point, so you can, you know, pass a granularity along from external systems into Campfire. Speaking of reports, I do also wanna show our report builder really quick. We got our reports right here. Inside here, we can go to create new report in the top right, custom financial statement. We're gonna call this, October 14 I slash s. Account. Next page. We'll do this quarterly. Next page. Next page. Say report. This is the same information we were looking at on our, inventory statement a moment ago moment ago, but now I'm gonna go to edit over to the far right. When I do that, you'll see these gray dots appear next to each of these accounts. From here, I can drag and drop these accounts. So if I wanna get rid of... If I wanna take IT expenses and put this in the removed roads, I can do it like that. Same with rent and facilities. You'll see that I do the... As I do this, operating expenses gets reduced. We also have the ability to create custom groups in here. You add custom group, add group called separated OPEX. You'll see that down below right here, And you can drag and drop things into the separated OPEX. We're taking sales and marketing expense, software expense. Those are now inside of separated OPEX. Finally, you can also, you know, you can you can you can group these back inside of other groups. So put separate objects back inside of opera... Operating expenses. And you can also make custom formula rows right here. So click add add formula row. By, default in here, we have gross profit, operating income, and net income right here. These are included on the income statement by default. You can edit these as you see fit. So if you wanted to add something else or subtract something else, you can have that right here. You can also add additional terms. So if you wanna set up an EBITDA, you can do that here. Or you can add a brand new formula row right here. And that includes the ability to to to pass in ratios. So if we do, like, divide right here, this can make a ratio right here. Stepping out of the reports, I do wanna show our, forecasting tool right here, which is the forecast beta. This is a brand new feature we just launched recently. What this does is this allows our users to to see what I was talking about, where I mentioned seeing where you're going to end at the end of the month without having to, post post closing journal entries preemptively. What this shows by default is our actuals plus our committed values. These green values right here is what is, actuals plus committed. If I click on just actuals, this shows just the amounts that have posted the GL thus far. When I added our committed, that is taking what has been posted plus what is committed according to the revenue sub ledger in this in this case to get our projected total for the end of October. That applies to our expenses as well. So if you have, like, you know, amortizations you're going through or depreciation you're expected... Right now right now, this was a 100,000. If we do actuals thus far, only 14,000 has been posted thus far. So at the end of the month, it will be a 100,000 according to our depreciation schedules. Going beyond that even, we also have the ability to add in estimates as well. If I click on this, now what we're seeing here is in addition to our committed and our, and our actuals, we're seeing what the AI system or Embraer AI is estimating is estimating will be... That will be added to this by the end of the month. And the methodology used is shown right here under methodology. We had change on this. We can see what methodology this was... That, was used to get this calculation. We also have the ability to add in notes to be considered when running this. So add a note, and then you can toggle them on and off up here if you want them to be considered when, running this estimate. You also can even upload files or connect something via MCP to have that considered in the estimate as well. When everything's ready to go, you can either hit rerun this account for just that one account, or you can hit rerun with Amber to run the entire, forecast at once. But that is our forecasting tool. One more thing to call out with all of this is that, most reports you see inside of Campfire, you can download Excel or CSV right here. We also have the ability to, send this information to a Google Sheet or Microsoft Excel using Coefficient, which is a plug in tool for both of those software systems. I want you to get live data into those, into those, external software, suites automatically. Speaking of automations, let's go down here to Embrai. Let's go to our chat right here. This is our, proprietary agent that we built across the entire systems. We use a large accounting model to train this to get a stronger... To really kind of, you know, focus us on accounting data in the first place. And just to show what it looks like when we run a query here, let's see, let's see a list of our top five biggest vendors by spend for q one twenty twenty six. Enter. What is going on here is that this actually is generating and then executing Python code to get the output. And this is a sharp contrast to something like a cloud or chat to PT where things go into the, you know, account... The the AI black box, and and it's unknown when exactly is happening to that under the under the hood. Whereas with this, it's gonna show us exactly what happened and will give us a paper trail that we can pass along to the, auditors or consult back to later on. So this is running right now. It should be generating this, shortly. While this continues to run, other things I wanna call out with Ember is that we have the ability to upload files for consideration in the Ember. So if you use a piece of paper clip right here, you can upload that into the system and have that considered when running. And also, it has the ability to generate Excel and PowerPoint files just like you could get out of a cloud or type of PT. Right here. This is the paper trail I was talking about. When I click on this, you click on steps. You can see the Python code that was executed right here, which shows exactly what was run-in order to get the AI driven output. And really why this matters is that if, you know, the audit team or somebody else on the accounting team wants to double check what was done to get an AI generated record, be that a report or something else inside of Campfire, they can come back to this, copy that Python code into an into an external system, ask for a walk through as far as what happened here to really explain, how this, how this how this process actually work... Worked to get the output. So, you know, not only can you run chats like this, but you also have the ability inside of Campfire to generate agents, like I mentioned during the, intro here. We got agents right here. This is where our agents live. We have these, these green ones come built into the systems in terms of our continuous close, our AR and AP matching agents, and our Dunning agent for invoice recovery right here. You'll see down below, we have a 100 custom agents that people have built in the system. There's no limit to how many agents you can build. This just happens to be 100 in this case. What these agents do, these run... These are processes that run automatically at whatever cadence has been given. So for example, we have this daily five day rolling treasure cast forecast. What this is doing, we go to runs. This is looking at our treasury accounts, and it's making, suggestions over where we need to move balances from one treasury account to another in order to optimize our treasury returns. So this is just an example of, an agent we set up. And outputs from these agents can be delivered not just inside the system, but also via email or Slack as well once you've hooked up hooked up Slack or, you know, given the correct email address for for this to pass along. One of the, other, you know, built in agents I wanna show off is our flux analysis tool. We go to on demand, flux analysis. We have the ability to compare period versus period or budget versus actual. So you can upload budgets into Campfire. They compare that against your actual, results. To give an example of a actual versus actual, we'll do... We're gonna look at, q one versus q two twenty twenty six right here. We see an AI driven driven summary up top, a variance by department, a variance by category, and then a breakdown by account as far as what the AI system thinks has happened with with each of these. So for example, hosting revenue right here, you see a write up of what has happened with this account. Now, of course, this is just the built in flux analysis tool. If you you wanna get to things more detailed, you can always ask for, a certain format on this by just talking to it, via chat. Coming into settings here, one of the thing I wanna call I'll call it here, this is where our skills live. These are like agents that, can be called from the chat directly. We just talk to and say, hey. Run skill x y z. It'll run it for you. We also have our MCP connections set up right here. This is where we can connect Ember to external software systems such as RAM, Stripe, or even if we go to add custom connector, anything that has a remote MCP server URL available. Once that's hooked up, Ember's gonna be able to read information from that external system and consider that in its calculations to get better accuracy and better results. So for example, RAMP can connect to Campfire, passes data into Campfire just fine, via integration, but there may be some non GAAP information or non accounting information, including inside of Ramp, that Ember can't see because it hasn't been passed into Campfire. Once you have this MTP connection hooked up, Ember will be able to access that additional information, consider that in its calculations. Taking a step out of our revenue or out of our AI system here, I wanna show our revenue system briefly. This is our revenue dashboard, which shows a couple of key metrics such as total revenue, new total customers, net retention rate, etcetera. What is driving this is if we go to contracts right here, it's our contract system. Contracts can get into Campfire either through CSV upload, manual creation, or being passed in via Salesforce or, HubSpot, connection. Once these arrive inside of Campfire, they look like this. We go into one of these, like Goop, for example. Each of these contracts has a revenue schedule down below, which is the schedule of revenue, expected to be recognized during the course of this contract. What is driving this revenue schedule are... Is our subscriptions, usage, and milestones right here. So for example, in this case, we have we have a one year subscription for the $100,000. That subscription for the $100,000 is being recognized ratably over the course of the contract. We also have usage right here and milestones, which show up as one time events on the revenue schedule. So for example, this this 04/03/2012, additional images, 01/01/2027. Come in here. We're we're going to see this additional images right here for 01/01/2027. And then invoices can also be generated from Campfire automatically if you go into a a a contract and then go to schedule invoices. We go to next right here. I'm gonna do an annual invoice or quarterly. Let's say quarterly. Next. It's gonna pick up all of our subscriptions and milestones here, and then I can hit create invoices to create the invoices automatically. When I do this, a journal entry is gonna be create... Made for each of these invoices. If we go to this invoice right here, you'll see that the journal entry was made automatically right here. And the invoice that can actually be... That is actually generated inside of the customer looks like this. We had download PDF. One thing to call out with this also is that these invoices are fully customizable. So all these fields right here, these can be changed to be whatever you want. Here's the invoice right here. In real life, your company's logo and your company's address will be showing up here instead of Campfire and, Campfire's address. And then this is the invoice that'll be seen when sent to the customer. Stepping through briefly the rest of our, kind of core accounting, capabilities, we also offer bills inside of here. So if you have bills that are, you know, living inside of Ramp or bill.com or Brexit, something like that, those can be passed into Campfire from those internal systems, or they'll show up inside of overview right here. Additionally, you can hook up an email, address that when messages hit that with a PDF of a bill attached to it, they will land inside of inbox as a draft bill inside of Campfire from from where you can, you know, then go go to needs approval, wait a payment, etcetera. Also, from inside of a bill, if we go to a if we go to a bill here right here, like one password right here, you can create amortizations from one of these bills. So for example, we have this, software expense right here for one password, prepaid expenses. You go to amortize. Let's do start date. We'll do today. End date, we'll do today plus one year. Destination account will do software expense. Hit next. It's gonna show us a preview of the amortization schedule right here, and let's save. Once we do that, we have our amortization schedule available right here. Amortization, can... It lives right there. Fixed assets right here, including our depreciation schedules for each of these. So we get any any of these assets right here. It's kinda like, this lock up right here. We'll see depreciation schedule right here. Leases, we have the ability to handle, operating and finance leases right here. If you're paying a lease every month, we can take care of that for you instead of Campfire. And then for amortizations, you know, depreciation, revenue recognition, etcetera, all this will will be posted as part of our period closed management checklist. Checklist, we go to October 2026. This is where our list of to do items to close the period outlives. You have the ability to assign this to some... Each of these items to somebody, keep track of who completed it, who reviewed it, and then as the, and then finally the journal entry that was created, for this for this item. So for example, we're gonna depreciate fixed assets right here for October 26. We hit run. Perhaps not that one. Let's look at amortized prepaids. Reopen this one. So I can show so I can show it off. We go into this. It's gonna draft a journal entry for us for prepaid amortization for October, and then we just need to hit save transaction to post this to the GL. Something else to call out with this is that this is fully customizable. So there are additional items you wanna add to this list. You go to actions, add item. You can add whatever you'd like. I frequently see our customers, add, AI items on you here. It's like every AI task. So you're gonna, like, make sure that there's a skill or some of the kind of AI task run that that you wanna have human eyes on. You can set that up here. So for example, in this case, we'll do, you know, show me a listing of all payments for this month that were greater than $2,000. Save task. The task has now been appended to the bottom of the list. I'm gonna run right here. It's gonna kick that off in a brand new tab inside of Ember. And we're coming up on, kind of closing time here. Just to kinda polish this off real quick, we go to settings. I do wanna show, like, one or two more things. Inside of settings, this is where our our controls live that I was talking about. When you invite somebody to the system, you can give them access to certain entities right here. So all entities in this case or whatever entity you want. You can also give them a role right here. And depending on what role they have, they'll have access to different things inside the system. The roles are set up right here. Go to roles, create custom role. This is where you can dictate what somebody can read, draft, write, or approve inside of Campfire based on their role. And these permissions extend into Ember as well. So it's not going to be, you know, you can't circumvent this by going to Ember and just, asking questions that are your... That you're not, you know, supposed to be able to to gain access to that information inside here. We also even have approval workflows available to create a proof of workflow. Type is x y z, operation is a b c. You wanna have the approval from a certain role or user to proceed with this. Also inside of settings is where our self-service connections live. Campfire is able to connect to a lot more software than just this, but these are the ones that have a self-service component available. So if you wanna connect to ramp and edit your your connection yourself, you can do that inside of here. So it goes to Stripe, your banking connections, your CRM connections, data lakes, payroll, SSO, and tax. I wanna leave a little bit of time here at the end for questions, but is there anything else that, people wanted to go over? I, I'm all all ears. So ask away, please. If there are no more questions, my name is Brad Dylan at Campfire. My email address is brad@campfire.ai. Please send me email messages whenever you want, and I'll be, ready to answer as soon as you would like. Thank you very much, and, hope hope to see you again sometime soon. Bye bye.
