Transcript for "02/20/2026 Campfire Product Demo": Hey, everyone. My name is Hank. Thank you all for hopping on the webinar today. We're super excited to show you the Campfire platform and what Campfire can do to help automate a lot of the accounting tasks and to accelerate your close process. A little bit just information about Campfire. Campfire is the AI native next gen ERP tool that's designed to really automate a lot of the accounting tasks and day to day accounting tasks you may have. Let me see if I can pull up my my slides over here. But Campfire is the AI native next gen ERP, system that's designed to be, again, the next generation version of of NetSuite or Sage Intact or SAP. A little bit of background about myself and also some of the founders of Campfire. My name is Hank, solution consultant over here at Campfire. Really came over to Campfire to help build, the NextGen ERP system. Was a public accountant and was at NetSuite before Campfire. A little bit of information about the Campfire team is that John Glasgow, CEO and founder of Campfire, Paul's our CTO, really built Campfire to build the next gen version, of an ERP tool because we saw a lot of the frustrations in the existing tools. We've raised a 100,000,000, in 2025, from Excel, Y Combinator, and Ribbit Capital. I've had customers come on to Campfire in all sorts of industries from health care to construction to technology and software to professional services and banks as well, all the way from 5,000,000 in revenue to 250,000,000 in revenue on Campfire, that use Campfire as a full accounting and ERP solution. A lot of the issues that we see from customers that come from, like, a QuickBooks or Xero or NetSuite or Sage is that, one, with the kind of legacy accounting systems, you know, there's a lot of pain points because in QuickBooks and Xero, they're not multi entity, and they lack a lot of, like, the kinda currency consolidations, and they lack certain accounting schedules like prepaids or fixed assets or revenue recognition, no internal controls as well. And from NetSuite and Sage, you know, despite all you pay, there's still a lot of manual accounting tasks, older user interface, and no AI attached to a lot of these products as well within the those tools. And, of course, Campfire to, like, support a lot of these as well. The Campfire platform overall, there's a couple products that we have. The two main features that we have are core accounting, which you see on the right, and that's your general ledger, financial statements, multi entity, prepaids, close management, approval workflows, and revenue automation as well. So that's revenue recognition, invoicing, reporting, KPIs as well for revenue. So if you need deep revenue revenue recognition, we can support that. Otherwise, a lot of our companies on Campfire will use Campfire just for the core accounting, which is, like, the GL, financial statements, and multi entity. Ember AI as well. So Ember AI is, like, you know, drafting budgets, flux analysis, talking to the AI to build reports, or to build and write to the ledger as well. So we have Campfire AI, something that all of our customers will get free of charge. And, of course, we have tons and tons of integrations. So integrations out of the box like Ramp, Brex, Salesforce, HubSpot, Stripe, tens of thousands of bank accounts, and banks across North America and around the world, ADP, payroll as well, Stripe, bill.com, everything like that. We have integrations out of the box. And then, of course, the last thing we wanna show is that if you really enjoy today's presentation and wanna take a deeper dive into the Campfire product, we're happy to give you a much more personalized and detailed product demonstration about the Campfire product. And if you like what you see and wanna move on to Campfire, but you're on NetSuite or Sage Intacct right now or another system, we have a CFO BioFund to actually write checks to all of our customers that move on to Campfire. So if you're, like, one year into your three year NetSuite contract and you have a $100,000 left, if you move to Campfire, we will write you a check for the $100,000 to actually move you into Campfire. So we'll straight up write you a check for the remaining balance of your, like, NetSuite contract or your SAP contracts. We have a bio fund. We love to talk to you more about just get you out, onto Campfire. So we wanna make sure that your contract isn't a reason why you don't wanna move on to the Campfire platform. So with that, happy to hop into the Campfire platform and start with the kind of presentation for Campfire. But front page of the Campfire platform today, this is what you'll see out of the box, couple of reports and KPIs, reminders, graphs, and charts. We're really strong when it comes to, of course, KPIs and reports, but also when it comes to core financial statements as well. So this is the income statement that comes out of the box for Campfire. It's reported on a month by month basis. The first thing we can do Campfire is a fully multi entity solution, so you can break out, all of your reports by different entities, sub one, sub two, parent company, consolidated total, eliminations as well. So we have eliminations in Campfire. Can track all of these out of the box today down to their individual GL transactions, can create as many different entities as we need to within Campfire, subsidiaries of subsidiaries, multiple eliminations entities, and automate, like, the intercompany transactions and eliminations within Campfire, the Campfire platform today. So we have all of those within the Campfire tool. And then we can also break them out by, like of course, they're different currencies, they're different departments, anything like that. We can even put things like a departmental level breakdown of the rows where if you open up OpEx, you have the departments underneath them, and you have, like, the subdepartments. You have, like, marketing, the GL accounts under marketing as well on an entity by entity basis. So full kind of three-dimensional reporting at a Campfire and could even transact and, like, drill down to, like, individual transactions as well. So if we break out on, like, an entity basis, we also support FX. So if you go into, like, a transaction level detail and click into a journal entry, have the ability to do triple ledger accounting, which means that, we can transact, every transaction across multiple different currencies, like GBP, euro, US dollar. This is the same journal entry that's broken out by GBP, which is the transacting currency, euro, which is the functional currency, and then dollar, which is, like, the consulting currency within the Campfire platform as well. So contract across different currencies within the Campfire system, all sorts of that within Campfire today. We can even build custom reports within Campfire. So we have this income statement that comes out of the box. We also have custom reports within the tool. A custom report would be something like, you know, an income statement without stock based comp, and I'll move it to the last quarter to get some more detail and data in here. But if I open up p and l without SBC, what we can do is we can drag and drop out line items for this report. So let's say I wanna, you know, track OpEx, but I don't wanna use depreciation expense. I can just drag and drop out depreciation expense and then move remove rows, and OpEx will recalculate without this GL account inside of it. I can also add custom groups or formulas. Or if I wanna move, like, depreciation expense into cost of goods sold, I can do so as well. So I can move depreciation expense into COGS. And then, of course, you can track on it, like, line by line level detail, move things into revenue or COGS above or below the line, add formula rows as well. So we have custom reports within Campfire. And you can even build, like, a custom report from the ground up within the tool as well. So all you need to do is create custom report here. And within the custom report, we have the ability to track, like, hey. I wanna do a vendor spend analysis. So, like, a vendor spend analysis report. I can drag and drop. I want the payees in the groups and GL accounts underneath them. So I'll call these vendors. We can change the order of these as well. And then I want, like, a month by month analysis, and I'll just select the value. And then I only want, like, OpEx in here as well. And it's really easy to create a custom report even with, like, the filters if we want, like, the date range filter, the department filter, the GL account filters as well, we can put all of those in. And then we can save the report, and then we have this report, like, lined up ready to go for us. So with this report, we have, like, the GL accounts underneath the vendors. We can click and drill into these transactions, into the GL detail. But now we have a saved report within the system. So incredibly easy to build custom reports within Campfire, whether it's a financial statement or, like, a ground up report within the tool. We can even use the AI tool to build custom reports as well. So I'm gonna go into our Ember tool. Campfire features a fully fledged AI product that sits on top of Campfire. We have our own foundational model and the ability to use frontier models like Anthropic as well, but it has the ability to parse through all of your transaction level detail if you give it permission to. So it can read all of your journal entries, all of your vendor bills, all of your, you know, customer invoices, everything like that. And we can ask the system, hey. Can you build a, revenue, trend analysis for October to December '25? Build this visually and table format wise with also a consideration, of gross margin and cost of goods sold. We can ask it to build any report within the system, and what it'll do is it'll pull all the raw source data. So here's all of your raw source data for all of your GL balances and GL transactions. It's gonna pull all that raw source data, so it gives you a tieback of that source data that you can tie back to. And then it'll start actually building what the reports look like both visually. So this is the first visual report for, like, a month by month trend of, like, you know, revenue, gross profit, and cost of goods sold, gross margin percent trend as well. And they'll start building a table format as well on a month by month basis. Here's a breakdown of, like, service revenue, usage based revenue, intercompany revenue on a month by month basis. Here's cost of goods sold. Here's gross margin percentage on a month by month basis as well. And it'll even write, like, qualitative insights for you. We had huge revenue growth in October to November, that grew 1800%. COGS is, like, well controlled as well. Gross margins are 51%, everything like that, meaningful revenue shift. So we have all of those within the Campfire tool today. So we can build qualitative and quantitative reports within Campfire that show all of these amounts. So We can build these kind of trend reports, get into the source data as well. We can even build things like flux analyses. So if you build flux within Campfire oops. If we build flux within Campfire, we can do, like, a flux analysis. So can you build an October 2025 flux analysis using a 5% variance threshold, the $2,000 materiality threshold, and write commentary, let's say, to September, we can build this tool, and then the system will pull all the ending TV balances. So it's gonna run the analysis. And then here's all the, you know, trial balance, ending balance details on a month by month basis. Here's percent and dollar value change. And it's gonna actually, like, build out the report for us that shows in, like, a structured Excel table format what are, like, all the reports and everything like that, that have all the different amounts. So it's gonna build us, like, a, you know, month one, month two, the differences and everything like that. So once this report generates, you'll be able to see it. And all of our reports can be exported to Excel, can build pivot tables off of them as well. We have, like, of course, Excel and, Microsoft Office and, Google Sheets integrations. So here's a report where we have, like, the GL account, period one, period two, the differences. And then we have actually all the commentary that's being written as well. So the commentary would be like, hosting costs increased 90% despite me taking the same transaction account. OpenAI, one of our vendors, increased 210% to 650,000, while another vendor increased, 60% to another 300,000. One topic was discontinued. So it's gonna not just show you, like, the month by month differences, but it's gonna highlight the explanations and do the first draft analysis for you. And it shows, like, trends in customers, trend in vendor spend, everything like that. Our transaction count for, like, legal expense increased 300% or 200% because late fees nearly doubled to 81,000. So it's gonna provide you, like, high level analysis from all of your transaction level data because, again, it's parsing through every journal entry, every invoice, every vendor bill, the dollar values, descriptions, the dates for all of those to provide that analysis for you. And you can even ask subsequent questions like, hey. Can we get more details about those Latham bills and legal expenses? So you can even continue asking questions about, like, all of your transaction level details as well to get more and more data, from the system to help you have better insights from your transaction level details for, like, a specific GL account or specific vendor or anything like that. So as this runs, just wanna say, if there's any questions or concerns or feedback, would love if you put it in, like, the chat. We're actually doing a section at the end, where folks will be, putting answers within, like, the the q and a and the chat, and we'll answer those live for you as well. So this is gonna generate, like, all of your source data, so all of your legal bills, the the raw source data for the legal bills, the kind of the AP subledger as well, and then open bills, the status for those, the descriptions, the dollar value. So it'll give you, like, more and more analysis off of these too. So all the legal expense transactions, all of the, like, bills and everything like that, it's gonna structure and provide for you. And then a bigger picture, like, hey. We have three bills that are open and past due. Here's the bill numbers for those and how much are past due. Hey. We have a warning. There might be a potential accrual as well a potential double missing accrual or double accrual and, like, legal cost surge within one month or another. So we have all those within the system. We can even say, hey. Because we had, like, a double accrual, for the double, we don't want that. Can you prepare a journal entry to reverse out of that double accrual and correct that? So we can even ask the system to prepare, like, journal entries for us to write to the ledger to, like, fix transactions, and it's gonna, you know, figure out exactly what the double accrual was. And it's gonna start preparing, like, the transactions to to help solve that. So Here it is preparing the journal entry for that accrual, and it has, like, description for the methodology as well. This one was the reversal of the three month average accrual. We did a three month average accrual, so we're gonna reverse out of that. And then you can create the transaction to back out of what the accrual is. And, of course, you would never post transactions from the AI tool without anyone knowing. You physically have to create transaction and hit save transaction, have the right permissions, restrictions, everything like that. You have to have the right permissions and everything to be able to post this entry. And then, of course, it logs in the audit log as well that it was created via AI and that you're the user that created that transaction within the AI tool. So our approach to AI within Campfire is that, like, AI is the ghostwriter, but it's never the author of your transactions. So someone physically has to go in and click save transaction and log in the audit log that they were the user that created that transaction. But we do want AI to help automate the, like, first 80% of, like, planning of what that transaction should be and finding those missing transactions as well. So That's Ember AI and some of the tools we have within Ember AI. It's all within a SOC control environment. So we're SOC one and SOC two compliant, Ember included, and it's within the platform. So you don't need to build any setup for Ember or anything like that. It's already just you know, you go in the left hand side and click Ember and start asking you questions or sharing the prompts from user to user and writing to the ledger, or building custom reports within the tool. With that, that's kind of some of the reporting we have within Campfire. On the GL management perspective, we have a full, like, closed checklist. So we're an entire accounting tool. So what we mean by that is we have, of course, journal entries, intercompany journal entries, AP and AR subledgers, amortizations of prepaids, fixed asset subledger, even lease accounting too. We go super deep on, like, lease accounting. So if you have a 42 operating leases, we have those. This is the closed checklist. So if you use, like, a FloQast or a BlackLine, we have our own version of that. So we have our own version of our own closed checklist, which has, like, the action, which can generate a journal entry. It's all logic based, so it can generate, like, your fixed asset depreciation journal entry here. And then after that, it has, like, completed by, reviewed by, approvals as well, attachments, due dates, everything you want in a closed checklist you have within Campfire, building the flux analysis from AI, missing accrual searches, lease amortization, revenue recognition, elimination of intercompany transactions. We have all of those within the closed checklist within Campfire today. And then we also have, of course, AI transaction categorization we can see here. So, like, let's say that you have a bunch of open invoices and you have, like, cash transactions. What you can do is that Campfire AI can actually make recommendations to, like, go match between, like, open AR invoices, and cash transactions. So we had a cash transaction here. It was a wire from this company, and then we have an invoice so you can match these together within Campfire AI. And that's an AI suggested match within the tool. As well, we have prepaid amortization. So if you have a prepaid amortization, we can generate the prepaid drawdown from one account to another. It's booking to software expense. So we have prepaid amortizations, full AP subledger as well. So if you have, like, AP sub AP bills or invoices, we can automate that process. And then we have fixed assets as well. So if you have, like, a fixed asset for a laptop, you can tell the system that's a laptop, and we'll generate the fixed asset depreciation schedule for you, automatically book the journal entries, disposals, disposal logic, everything like that within the tool. Even lease accounting. We go super deep on, like, leases. So with lease accounting, you just tell us, like, what your discount rate is, direct cost, prepaid rent, lease incentives, and we'll generate the entire lease accounting schedule for you with, like, daily interest accrual, right of use asset opening, amortization, and closing. So we generate the full lease amortization schedule for you as well. And then for, like, closed management, we have, like, the closed checklist, cash management as well. So the closed checklist, approvals, internal controls. Even for, like, things like bank reconciliations, we can automate the bank reconciliation for you by automatically electronically connecting to your bank. We connect to about 10,000 banks in The US right now in North America, and then we can actually reconcile for you automatically between, automatically parsing the bank's PDF statement that we bring in and using the bank PDF to actually, reconcile between the cash transactions. So we can even do a cash reconciliation between your electronic transactions to the PDF for the bank transaction as well. So, have automation AI processes for all of that today. And then the one last thing that we have is, of course, we have Campfire, all of the kind of core accounting topics like leases, prepaids, fixed assets, amortizations, cash management, the closed checklist. We also go super deep on revenue recognition. So for some customers, they'll use this a lot, and some customers, they won't use it as much. But we have a full dashboard for revenue, and then we can generate contracts within Campfire. So a contract would be something like, if we have a contract, we can generate your subscriptions. We can do, recurring subscriptions, usage, milestones. We can generate invoices in Campfire as well. So in Campfire, what we can do is we can schedule invoices. So if you generate a subscription that, like, has, like, your total monthly amount, we can generate invoices for you in the future off of, like, monthly, quarterly, buying, or annual, and create sets of invoices for you as well. So if we wanna do, like, a monthly invoice schedule, we can generate all the invoices on a monthly basis, preview what the invoices look like. You can put your bank information, the dollar values, everything like that. Sales tax, we bring in as well, invoice date, custom net terms, attachments. And then for the invoice itself that's generated, we can generate the PDF sent to your client, mark sent. We'll extend invoices out, email them out to your customers. We can even do dunning as well. So dunning would be, like, if you have invoice reminders either before the invoice is due or after the invoice is due, we can automatically email those invoices out and then automatically remind customers to pay those invoices as well within the platform. So full automation on the AR side, and then can do, like, cash matching. But anything on the order cash side, we can we can set up, have integrations to HubSpot and, Salesforce as well. So full automation on, like, the the revenue side as well. But, yeah, just wanna say again, overall, appreciate everyone hopping on call. We'll do some questions now. So if you have any questions, put them in the q and a, and, we'll start going through them and answering them one by one. So, actually, Yam asked a really good question. They asked about, for a standard migration, what does it look like from other ERPs? The answer is that we have a super white glove implementation approach, which means that you just give us access into your QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct account. You give us access to it. We will do a transaction of a migration for you, which means that we will actually pull down every journal entry that you had historically within your past ERP system and migrate every single journal entry, bill, invoice into Campfire for you on a transaction level basis. We do it typically between, like, four to twelve weeks. It depends how many transactions and how many entities, but it typically would take between one to three months. But we'll do all the work for you, do the migration. We'll train your team. Our entire implementation team is SF based, so they're based in The US. We don't outsource, like, the delivery unless you want us to bring a separate partner into the implementation, but can do it all in house delivered. And the best part is for a limited time, we are waiving all implementation costs. So it costs $0 for us to implement for you. You just pay the Campfire cost and license. And then, again, even with that, if you're coming from an existing ERP, we're happy to write, like, a check for you to buy you out of your existing ERP with our $5,000,000 buyout fund out of Campfire. Evan asked another good question when it comes to cost, but what's a typical cost for Campfire? It really depends. The way we structure the cost of Campfire is that we structure it by the complexity, which means it changes how many entities and how many users you have, like a seed based model within Campfire. So what that means is that we'll charge you based off of that, but we don't charge you off transactions. And the most important thing, Evan, is we don't charge you by the number of features you have as well. We only have two modules. So we don't charge you, like, $600 a month to do fixed assets or anything like that. We try to give you as many features out of the box as possible within Campfire and then any features that are, like, you'll ever want in the future as well. But I would say this. Because it's so highly dependent on the price, we're typically between a QuickBooks and NetSuite when it comes into price, but we're a little bit more closer to the NetSuite side. So a little bit cheaper than what NetSuite comes in typically at. You have us another question for, like, chart of accounts, legal entities, vendors, GL balances. We are the full system of record. We can actually and this is more super deep. Yeah. We can talk about this on on the other side offline, but we're the full system of record. So with the full AR and AP subledger, we're the full system record for every journal entry, every vendor bill, every revenue recognition entry, every invoice, every fixed asset, everything like that. So we're the full system of record. Though you can have separate subledgers off of, like, a database or, like, a snowflake to connect to Campfire, but for the vast majority of our customers, we're the full, like, source source and system of record for all those transactions and have the AI tool parse through those as well. Megan asked a question about, Ember in, like, the closed data model. So we have two AI models that we can leverage. It's your choice. We can either have it Anthropic based, which is a a frontier model. And with Anthropic, it's in a SOC environment. So it's only actually within your specific environment. It never leaves a wall of Campfire, and, like, Anthropic never trains off that data that comes into Campfire as well. And we have our own foundational model. So that's if you want, like, the most utmost security. We have our own foundational model. We have our own foundational model within Campfire. And that foundational model, is a little bit more of, like, if you never want the data, leave out the Campfire system in your instance. We can just use it off our own home built model with our own NVIDIA GPUs and everything like that. So, that's kind of, like, on the, structure, and everything like that. Donald has a question about, I think, internal controls and, like, segregating edit and write abilities. So, Donald, I hope I got your name right. But in the settings here, in the team, what we can do is we have approvals, workflows, and and roles. So what we can do is, like, for accountant role, we can customize, like, read, write, approve capabilities within Campfire, draft abilities as well. We can create custom roles. So we can go super deep in, like, the permissions and settings and internal use cases for, like if each individual user has access to, like, approve journal entries or read write draft entries as well. So we have all those kind of segregation of duties within the Campfire platform. And then another question. Evan, apologies on the confusion on pricing. The the way it works for complexity is just by number of, of entities. That's how we typically measure, like, the complexity of the of the structure. So, like, the difference is is really by number of entities and number of users, to be honest, of, like, gonna be the difference of pricing for Campfire because we only really have two modules. And then there's another question about issuing funds. Actually, there's a question about if you already run an SAP or Oracle, could we layer it on top? We can. We have some customers that use NetSuite for everything, and then we are just reporting layer as well on top. We prefer to be the entirety of the ERP. But if you do wanna have, like, SAP or Oracle run a lot of the GL transactions and we're, the AI layer and you don't wanna replace everything, we're happy to start with just do reporting consolidations in the AI layer. So, yeah, we'd love to talk to you about what we can do, because we'd love to show you just the Campfire platform, get you using it. And it is a huge migration. So if you do wanna just start off with reporting in AI, we're happy to kinda solve that for you first. And then can we issue funds, out of Campfire as well? So, we can. It depends. We can generate, like, a Notcha file or a BAA bank file for you as well. So we can generate those for you when you pay vendors out of Campfire, but most people will use their own AP tools that we integrate with. Evan will send a link, I think, the webinar. Luna will send, like, a link of the recording as well, and then we'll also reach out to you after this call to see if you wanna take a deeper product demonstration. And, Evan, either myself or some of my team is happy go through, like, a multi hour product demonstration for you for Campfire for your business' exact use case. And then, Jingyi, you asked a question about multi entity. We can set up multi entities within Campfire. So set up as many entities as you need to. We can do sub of subs, elimination entities. We go super deep on multiple entities and automation for eliminations of transactions and multi entity and consolidation automation. So we are very multi entity friendly. So have kind of multi unit support within Campfire. And, yeah, with that, just wanna say thank you so much. We're we're right on time here. I know, you know, thirty minutes is a lot to ask on a on a busy Friday, but wanna appreciate everyone's time today for hopping on the call. We're incredibly excited over here at Campfire for your ability to partner. So someone from our team will reach out afterwards if you'd love to see a more detailed product demonstration. But with that, I wanna say have a fantastic weekend, and, we'll see you all later. And we love the opportunity to partner. So thanks so much for your time, everyone, and bye from the Campfire Team.
