Transcript for "Campfire Product Demo 5/27": Hey. Hello, everyone. We are gonna give a a couple minutes for people to hop on the call and hop on the webinar. But we're super excited to have everyone today, and, we really appreciate, you know, everyone taking the time out of their day to hop on the Campfire webinar. I'm Hank. I lead the customer solution team over here at Campfire. I'm a first 10 employee at Campfire, and I really came to Campfire just because, you know, I've been in accounting, and I've been in ERP my entire career. And being part of, you know, a growing technology company that focuses on saving accountants' time and really helping accounts do their day to day jobs. Something that's, you know, so incredibly exciting for me. And, hopefully, you can get excited today about the Campfire product and we're building over here. So I'll give it a couple more seconds for people to hop into the call. But, again, I just wanna say appreciate everyone's time for, taking the time out of their day to hop on to the, the Campfire call and the Campfire webinar. But this is Campfire. I'm gonna pop up my screen. We have a couple kind of slides we wanna show before we kinda hop in the product demonstration, but, this is Campfire. Campfire is an AI native ERP for high growth companies. What we are is oh, and it switched. We're at AI native ERP for high growth companies. A little bit about Campfire is that we really help accountants and accounting teams and finance teams close faster so they can get to the best part of their day, which is actually being an analysis and being kind of a thought leader on their finance systems. We support a 180 currencies around the globe, operate in multi entity and multi currency, can interact in huge amounts of transaction volumes, and are fully SOC two compliant, SOC one and SOC two type two compliant, floor, ERP for high growth companies and a financial tool for companies as well. Why we really build Campfire? You know, if you're a CFO, if you're a buyer out there, every part of the CFO and accountant stack has been a complete makeover just in the last couple years. You have Ramp and Brex and Rippling for HR and spend, for AP. You have Zip for procurement. You have Stripe for credit card transactions, Carta for equity management, Snowflake, Airbase. You have all these tools that have completely been reinvented in, the CFO stack, but the only thing that's kind of still left out there standing is over here on the left, your Sage and NetSuite. Both kind of, were built around 1997, 1998, year I was born. Again, every tool in the CFO stack has been completely reinvented in the last couple years except the ERP. That's kind of the last fashion of, like, you're still using an outdated user interface, an older user interface, and you really aren't able to have a solution that's able to, you know, have a next gen UI, but then also use the next gen technologies to help automate your day to day tasks. It's really why we built Campfire. We wanted to bring ERP into, we really want to bring ERP into building the twenty first century and build a lot of tools that can help automate a lot of accounts tax. But bringing them to the twenty first century with next gen user interface and next gen tools. And, of course, with the Campfire platform, we've really simplified a lot of the buying experience as well. Traditionally, when you buy a legacy ERP system, you kinda buy by module, you buy by subledgers. So if you want leases, if you want fixed assets, if you want anything, you kinda have to pay, like, $5.99 for fixed assets, $79.09 for leases for closed management. We've really consolidated all of it into just two products here at Campfire. When you buy Campfire, you pick between two products, one or both, and you get everything that we have in that product and everything we're gonna release in the future. So for the core accounting side, we have the modern GL, which includes everything you'll need for the accounting perspective. That's the GL, that's reporting, that's multi entity, that's the closed management tool, prepaid fixed assets, leases, accruals. Everything you'll need when it comes to just the accounting and finance side, we've incorporated into a single product. When you buy that product, you have everything plus everything that we're gonna release in the future. If you're a little bit more detailed, you need more detail on the revenue automation side, on invoicing, payments, revenue recognition, six zero six management, usage based, KPIs, we have revenue automation. That's the second product that we have. So more complex billing and revenue recognition is the second product. You can buy one or the other or both within Campfire, but we try to keep it very simple what we have. But no matter what you buy, you get all of the AI tools that Campfire has built. Embra AI and the accounting intelligence that we have, that's what really separates Campfire from a lot of the other other tools out there, which is we have such a strong focus on controlled and securitized AI within the platform to help you automate a lot of the day to day tasks, and you'll see some of the AI in action today. So just wanna highlight that we have two products plus AI, which comes free of charge for any of the products you buy within Campfire. And, of course, we have tons of integrations as well. We actually focus really deeply on integrations and owning the integrations in house. Our integrations are built in house with Campfire engineers at State in California. So all of the maintenance and the supporting integrations is done by our own engineers. So direct integrations to Salesforce, HubSpot, Stripe, Ramp, Bill, about 12,000 plus banking connections. We can connect to almost every bank in North America or credit union, plus 200 payroll systems as well. So if your banks aren't actually connected to your accounting system today, something we can solve for you. If your payroll system isn't connected to your accounting system today, something else we can solve for you to automate those entries. But about a 100 plus connections that we have with AP tools, CRM tools, Stripe, payroll tools, CRM, everything like that comes out of the box with our integrations. And one of the last things we wanna say before we get into the product demonstration is we have a CFO bio fund. This is something that we've kinda released that says, like, hey. If you take product demonstration of Campfire and you really love what Campfire is offering and you're so excited to get your accounting team on it, but you're in the middle of a Sage Intact contract for another year for another $50,000, we have set aside $5,000,000 of cash to just get you out of your existing ERP contract. If you like what you see for Campfire, and Campfire is gonna be the system of future for your accounting and finance team, we won't make it so that your existing contract's gonna stop you. We will just write you a check to get you off of your existing platform. So we set aside $5,000,000 to get you out of your existing platform and onto the Campfire platform. So, well, let's talk a little bit more, but, of course, I would really wanna show the product demonstration. So with that, I'm gonna hop into the product demo here, and we can start with our presentation. So before I kinda get into the presentation, just wanna say, this is your time. So if there's anything that you wanna see specifically, put it into the chat. We're able to answer come questions live and throughout the product demonstration, we're gonna be answering questions live for everyone, in the product demo. So just put them in the q and a, and then Laura and I will get to the questions kind of throughout the presentation today. But with that, would love to get into kind of the product demonstration for Campfire. Front page of the Campfire platform here today, there's a couple of KPIs and metrics that come out of the box, things like revenue and cash reserves, reminders about your overdue receivables and overdue payables as well. You, of course, have all these that come out of the box within Campfire, and we combine these KPIs with our core financial statements. So in Campfire, we have, in the reporting section on the left, a core financial statements that includes the income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, trial balance, budget versus actual, custom reports as well. So especially budget versus actual and core financial statements we have out of the box. And, of course, we have the core income statement too. So this is the core income statement that comes out of the box for Campfire. Number one reason why customers will move on to Campfire is that they have some sort of multi entity, complex accounting, multi entity or multicurrency that isn't being solved by QuickBooks or Xero or even NetSuite today. Campfire comes naturally consolidated. It comes consolidated out of the box, and then you can always break up your reports if you go to the group by here, group it by the different entities in the different currencies. So if you wanna view all of your reports broken up by sub one, sub two, parent company, consolidation as well, we can do the national consolidations and then also break it out on an entity by entity basis for you all. We can even break it up by different currencies as well. So if you go to the entity section here, we obviously have the entities broken out here. But if I go to sub two, I can even switch between the consolidating currency in US dollar that we have for sub two, but you'll notice that because it's UK, if I hit use any currency, we can switch between the consolidating US dollar or the local currency that reports in. In this case, it's euro. So just switch between those very easily. You can have as many currencies as you need to within Campfire. Campfire handles all of the FX revaluations and transactions and everything like that within Campfire, and we automate that full process for you. So you have the full automation when it comes to multi entity and multi currency accounting as well. We help with the translation adjustments, revaluations. So if any multi currency or multi entity complexity, Canfire is a fantastic kind of fit to help automate that business for reporting consolidation. Multi entity, multicurrency, we also have the concept of multiple dimensions as well. So if you are tracking different, like, departments or vendor names or customer names or locations or jobs or projects or any kind of custom dimension or segment, We can also track all of those within Campfire as well. So what we can do is we just go to the kind of columns here, and we say, I wanna view my income statement by project, or I wanna view my income statement by location. Just so incredibly easy to be able to switch between those tags and to view your p and l or balance sheet or any report by your geography or your product or your location or anything like that within Campfire. So full flexibility when it comes to as many unlimited dimensions that you have within Campfire. So, of course, department, but then also by your dimensions as well. Really easy to break out some of the reports within Campfire. How about 50 reports that come out of the box? Of course, your classic balance sheet, income statement, ARAP aging, everything like that that comes out of the box within Campfire. But, of course, we also have core financial statements as well, and we have custom reports. Where we really specialize is the ease of custom reporting in Campfire. So if I go in the reporting section over here on the left in the reports page, if I hit create new report, we have the ability to create as many custom reports as we need to. These can be custom reports or custom financial statements. So I'm gonna create, like, a custom income statement here. I'm gonna create a custom income statement for today's demo, And I'm gonna say, I want the accounts over here, and I can kinda filter by accounts or departments. But I'm just gonna create this report so we can see it, and I'll show you what the custom reports look like in Campfire. This is a custom income statement within Campfire. It doesn't affect our core income statement, but it's an income statement that we have to really customize the exact view we want. Let's say we're building, like, a management stock report, and we wanna do something like, hey. I want to build this report. I wanna build an income statement, but I don't wanna include depreciation expense. I don't wanna include something into, you know, COGS. All I do is I find the GL account I want, depreciation expense. I'm gonna drag it and drop it out to remove rows, and in the remove rows section, I drag and drop it out. OpEx is gonna recalculate without depreciation expense, and net income is gonna recalculate without depreciation expense as well. It's so easy to just drag and drop line items in or out of the income statement. Or let's say that I'm building more of a management style report, and I want, IT cost to be part of COGS. I wanna move it above the line. I just drag it into COGS, and COGS is gonna recalculate with this extra GL account inside of it over here. It's so easy to just customize your financial statements, and, of course, it doesn't affect your core income statement. This is a customized report that you have. So you can create as many of these custom reports that you need. You can add formula rows for add backs or kind of subtractions, custom groupings. People do CAC analysis. They'll do localized kind of stat books into Campfire as well from here. So it's really easy to just drag and drop to customers' reports in or out of the Campfire platform. You can nest accounts into each other. It's your full, like, playgrounds, your full sandbox that you have within custom reporting within the Campfire tool. So, of course, the customer reports that we have, you can build reports from the ground up, or you can build them from prepared financial statements. We really aim to be able to create any report within Campfire, but the ease of use to have it being done where you can just kinda put whatever kind of, you know, request you need and drag and drop it in or out of the Campfire platform. So, of course, we have kind of custom financial statements, custom reports, everything like that, within the Campfire platform. There was kind of a question that I think actually Zach asked in the in the q and a. And Zach does question about, you know, Campfire handles, like, project accounting and classes. We can absolutely handle kind of projects within the revenue contracts, but when you talk about classes, that's a really great question because there's so many custom dimensions that people wanna be able to track, custom segments, custom dimensions, and that's just our tag functionality. So if you go back to any report here, you can just go to the group by and create as many custom dimensions, projects, locations, jobs. I was working with a kind of a VC company. They have incubators and everything like that. You can track as many of these custom dimensions that you need to handle a lot of those, reporting requirements. So it's something you can absolutely customize. And, Zach, we're actually able to help even customize on your behalf as part of the implementation process for Campfire. So something we can absolutely handle within the Campfire tool. Of course, there's a core reporting, custom reports, but something that's really special about Campfire is we have something called EmberAI. On the left hand side of the screen here, we have EmberAI, which is our own AI tool we built internally within Campfire. We have our own foundation accounting model. We've trained off of anonymized opted in customer data to train a model that knows accounting particularly well off your specific chart of accounts, and you can ask it any question. You can ask it questions like, hey. Can you build me a report that shows the trends in revenue, COGS, OPEX, gross margin, net income on a month over month basis, for q one twenty twenty six? Build it in table visual format, then also produce an Excel doc for the table with, let's say, all the values aligned on the right. We can ask it any question, and our AI tool interprets the prompt and actually builds directly, a response for you. So what it's gonna do is it's gonna find your income statement data. It's gonna find your balance sheet data. It's gonna pull that data. It's gonna tie it back to the ending TV balances, and then bill a response for you. So we'll give it a second, but it's computing the adjusted figures. While this kind of runs, I just wanna say that our AI tool goes through all the role based access controls. It's containerized within a SOC environment, so you have full security within Campfire. We also have role based access controls, which means that let's say you have kind of permissions restrictions for what certain people can access. That goes through Ember as well, which means that if your AR analyst doesn't have access to the AP subledger, you can make it where they can only ask questions about invoices and customer invoices and receivables and everything like that. So it goes to the full role based access control within Campfire, and we have the full audit logs and approval workflows for anything that AI creates as well. On the audit log, every time you run, a AI kind of prompts, it actually generates the full code for you. So it generates the full, like, Python code that's being written. So it's fully kind of auditable for all the values and the calculations and everything like that. And then it builds, like, the visualization summary. It builds the graphs, the charts. You have the actual trends here by revenue, adjusted COGS, gross margin margin percentages. It shows you how you calculate it from the code. And then, of course, it actually has, like, the tables and visuals and graphs and charts and takeaways and everything like that that it builds to help some build support for all the reports that you build. Even has supporting files as well. So the supporting files are the images. It's the calculations. It's the actual Excel files that were used. If you use Semper to create a journal entry, it'll actually help support build journal entry support and attach an Excel support. And, of course, if I down the Excel file and I pull this up, we'll have all these values in Campfire aligned right just like we asked it to, and it can build Excel files, it can build PowerPoint docs, it can build Word files, it can build PDFs. Everything like that, it can build in Campfire on your behalf. Kind of fun fact about Ember, but, when we were raising our our series b, over here at Campfire, we raised our series b. We actually had Ember because we run on Campfire. We actually had Ember build our our board deck, our presentations for us, our pitch deck off of all the ARR and contract data in Campfire. We had Amber do it for us, and, of course, we were able to raise actually a 70,000,000, a $100,000,000, you know, funding rounds, last year, particularly because Amber was able to produce that report for us and that board deck for us. So can can produce any sort of report, any sort of record or file. So it's something that you can't just kind of do within reporting section. You can always ask Amber, and it'll build that report for you. Amber has access if you give it access to every endpoint, every file and record you have within Campfire. What you can also do is you can also, you know, basically, in the chat, that was a report, but we can also do within Campfire is you can also have ember create records and objects as well. With the records and objects, what this will mean is that you can ask Ember something like, hey. Can you, well, let's say every month, we get vendor bills from our vendor, say, Figma. And we want to allocate these bills to their respective departments, respective departments based on, headcount. Use the headcount allocation skill we taught you. Calculate the headcount split by department, and then build the j e allocation, for the Figma bills. Let's start with April 2026. We can put the prompt in, and what it's gonna do is it's actually gonna do, like, some calculations for us. It's gonna find non kind of GL contexting information, which is gonna be the headcount allocation. It's gonna find all the Figma bills. It's gonna look up all those bills, all those vendors, and everything like that. And then it's gonna actually build, like, all the data. So it found the Figma bill for us. Bill number of 182374. We can search that or we can find it within the AP sub ledger. It filed the headcount allocation and did the percentage calculation by department, and then it's recalculating the math for the journal entry. So it's gonna actually help prepare what the journal entry should look like within Campfire to help manage and automate this process for you. So we'll give it a second, but here we go. Here's the journal entry. And, of course, we have the kind of saved Python code that's being used to calculate these amounts. We have the journal entry support that would be kind of supported for that as well. And then here's the journal entry. Something we're very adamant about at Campfire, though, is that for all of our AI tools, the AI is never actually directly booking an entry for you. You still physically have to approve the entry and hit create journal entry. When we think about AI within Campfire, we think that AI and accounting has such a high bar, kind of high bar that you have to pass, which means that we still have users be involved in the approval process for all AI created journal entries, which means that every user has to still kind of stamp their name on the transaction. We prepare and automate the first 95% of this and have the audit log and approval workflows and role based access control, but an accountant still has to stamp their name on this entry. But then we still have the full audit support for how we created this entry and everything like that within the platform. So full auditability when it comes to managing that process within Campfire. But you can see here we automated this journal entry and the creation of this journal entry. And then, of course, once we're done, we can do something like, hey. This looks really good. Can we create a automated agent that does this for us automatically every month? We can have the tool actually automate this process on a month by month basis so that you don't actually have to, you know, re put this prompt in every month. We can actually incorporate this as an agent that will actually execute this every month. It looks gonna ask a couple questions here, you know, when it should run. I want it to run on the fifth of the month. I want it to look at the prior calendar month, and, I want to preview. I don't want you to post it automatically, and I wanna get an email and Slack notification every time this is done. I'm gonna hit submit, and we're gonna be able to build the agent within Campfire. While this agent builds, someone asked a question, do we have to teach Ember AI skills, for the headcount allocation? And you do you do teach it those skills because, remember, everyone can do the headcount allocation a little bit differently. So it's containerized in your environment. You can train your company's Ember instance for just how you do accounting transactions. But our implementation team and our customer support team actually helps walk you through that process. As part of signing on to Campfire and being a valued customer of Campfire, we provide a free of charge customer support and implementation process where we can basically help implement and provide free customer support and training and agent building for you free of charge. We actually coach your team and develop an understanding of your business to help actually build these for you, and they can actually build them within your instance for you to help you utilize your agents and use them successfully. So the answer is yes. You have to build it within your instance, but our team helps you build it. And because of that, you have a personalized skill and a personalized member instance to just your company's business. We built the agent here. They actually built it for us. What the agent will do is the agent basically automates the process for creating the allocation on a monthly basis. It has a schedule. It has the tools who can run it. Everyone in the company are the same permission group. And the tools, it can get your bills, accounts, vendors, entities, departments. It creates a journal entry, invoices, transactions. It can get every object within Campfire. And then, of course, leases, prepaid, fixed assets. It can create charts and tables, and they can create objects. It can create journal entries, invoices, bills, fixed assets. Everything that you wanna be able to create within Campfire, it has to be able to create those. Agents can run other agents. They connect to other MCPs as well. You can publish or generate skills. That's what someone someone kinda mentioned, within the Campfire tool. But, yeah, you have all these kind of access to the tools that Embraer can generate, and it has all the instructions. So it built the instructions off of our prompt, but these are all customizable. You can always add additional line items. You can put whatever you want on the instructions because it's your personalized agent for your instance. So it really helps automate the day to day processes, and your team becomes managing more agents instead of kind of doing the preparation work themselves. Everyone, we always like to say, when they get on to Campfire, all their accountants become approvers. They get promotions. Everyone becomes a manager and becomes an approver of agents instead of preparing it themselves. And it saves them a lot of time, and it saves them a lot of busy work as well. You have the full agent management here where you can save all the agents. Every time an agent runs, you have a history of all the run, and each run has all of the records it created. It's a full odd log every time the agent runs, exactly what's being generated within the Campfire tool. You have all the runs. You have all the objects that the agent created. Everything like that is all traceable within the Campfire platform. Ryan asked a really good question about if Amber runs on Claude, and it actually does, but it's not just Claude. We actually run-in combination of Claude and our foundation accounting model. Our foundation accounting model is an accounting model we've trained up based off of voluntarily submitted anonymized customer accounting data that really teach their model like, hey. What is in real life? What does this chart of accounts look like? If you have, like, multiple AR accounts, like, which one should you hit? We supplement Claude with our large accounting model to get really fantastic data for training on specific accounting tasks, and that's where we really specialize in. It's still based off of Claude, but it's Claude supplemented with accounting data that we've taught it. And we've have so much rich accounting data that customers have submitted to us that's anonymized that actually, OpenAI has requested, multiple times to train off our data. We've we've denied them each time, but even, like, the large model providers have been asked us if they wanna be able to train off of our data. So, of course, this is something that we're able to kinda work through with that process, but, it's a combination of Claude and some of the other, tools we have as well. So, of course, that's some of the agents that we have within Campfire. I just wanna highlight we have a couple minutes left, and there's some questions I've been flowing into. Something I wanna really just highlight is, like, we're not just reporting in agents. We have the full kind of financial and ERP platform. What this means is on the accounting side, we have journal entries, intercompany journal entries, invoices, vendor bills, dunning. If you want us to chase down your customers and write AI drafted emails based off of who's not paying you on time, invoice recovery, vendor management, amortizations, fixed assets, leases. We have the full accounting automation for, like, fixed assets and leases as well, cash management, AI cash reconciliations, flux analysis as well, approval workflows on a closed management tool. We have a full closed checklist, bank reconciliations, account reconciliation. For revenue recognition, we have revenue contracts, projects, customer analysis, transactions, everything within Campfire that's actually built within the Campfire tool, but supplemented by the AI tools that we have as well. And then, of course, on the closed management side, the number one thing that customers really like about us is we have our own closed checklist. The closed checklist, if anyone's used a Flowcast before in the past, are Blackbinder. We have our own free version of it within Campfire with a checklist template. It can do things like eliminate your transactions, balance sheet evaluations, depreciate your fixed assets, and you have a step by step management of this where, essentially, you can have, like, all of the tasks over here by entity, assigned to, completed by, reviewed by, linked to the journal entry, due dates, everything like that, sub ledger locks, custom items. If you wanna do something like, hey. Eliminate your intercompany transactions, you just hit run. It will generate the journal entry for you automatically. And then after you generate that journal entry, you have the full approval process of who's reviewing the transaction, what's the due date, any notes or attachment journal entries, full automation when it comes to the closed checklist within Campfire. So we have an incredible amount of tools we built for Campfire, and we're building incredibly fast as well. Just wanna say again, we'll be answering a couple of questions towards the end of this call, but, just because we didn't show me a specific feature doesn't mean we don't have it. We could do, like, a three hour product demonstration of Campfire, but, unfortunately, not gonna make you sit through all of that. But, of course, if you'd like to see more detailed product demo of Campfire, someone from our team will reach out to you, and you can set up a much more detailed product demo of Campfire, whether it myself or someone from my team will walk you through very tailored product demonstration exactly tailored to your business to see what Campfire can do for for you and your company. There's a couple questions in the chat that people were asking about. I think, you know, Joshua asked a question about languages. Embra AI is available in languages. You just have to prompt it because it's fortunately, it's cloud based. You just have to prompt it to be able to generate responses in a language and interpret in a language as well. So as long as you have a a keyboard that can type in other languages or anything like that, we're fully able to support by languages for Ember specifically. Elena asked a question about, countries in, Africa for local currency and tax configurations. We have full tax compliance, globally and in The US. So we're happy to talk to you about what we can do for sales tax within the Campfire platform. And then, of course, we are available, in Kenya. So we may not have the specific, like, localization requirements for, like, direct filings with, you know, the Kenyan government for tax calculations, But we can generate the reports that are needed for, you know, all the tax you've collected and paid on the AR and EP side. And, of course, we support about 200 currencies, so we're gonna be able to support those local currencies as well. And then, of course, Prem asked a question about, ensuring privacy with the data tools he gets access to. Prem, fantastic question. And the answer is that anything that goes through Ember is containerized within the walls of your specific environment. We specifically use, a cloud key that cloud actually doesn't actually train on any of that data and never escapes the walls of Campfire, so it's a containerized instance. It's all anonymous within Campfire. So you have the full access, within Campfire, but it is kind of containerized within the SOC environment. We're fully SOC one and SOC two type two compliant on the privacy side as well. Josh also has some of the questions for Elena about kind of compliance. So we're again can support about 200 currencies, on, like, the tax rates. We support the custom tax rates, exempted items, everything like that on a specific accounting policies. That's kind of up to you and your team to execute those policies within Campfire, but we have, like, localized and statutory books that we can support. I think, Joshua, we'd love to get you a more detailed product demonstration to see what we can do for your business. And then, of course, I'll probably ask another question about integrations. We have tons of integrations that come out of the box. So when it comes to integrations, we have integrations to AP tools, HRS tools. So you see all the payroll tools. We have about 200 plus integrations mainly through one of our partners, Finch. But you can see ADP deal, Rippling here as well. CRM, we have a fully customizable integrations to both Salesforce and HubSpot. They all come out of the box. So you actually don't need a partner to actually execute some of these integrations. But, yeah, we have about a 100 plus integrations, connect to about 20,000 plus bank accounts, and about, a 100 plus, payroll tools. So we'd love to see what we could do, especially if it's a US bank account or a US payroll tool. It's something we can definitely connect to. And, yeah, super helpful. And, Josh, we're excited to see you tomorrow in the product demonstration. So, with that, I just wanna say, thanks so much for everyone's time today. We're so excited to show you the Campfire platform and what we can do for your business, and we're really reinventing what it means for having a next gen accounting tool, within Campfire to help automate a lot of the day to day accounting. So I just wanna say thanks much for everyone's time. We're really excited to see you in a later product demonstration, and, we really hope we can partner within the future. So, again, thanks so much, and, we'll see you later. So thank you.
